Hi all,

While upgrading the solution manager it prompts for the SDM and J2ee_admin password, even though we provided correct details it is not taking.

Again we reset the new password of SDM

While starting SDM through remotegui.sh is not conncting to the server giving the error as could not establish the connection to the server hostname at port 50018.

And trying the config tool it is giving the error 

Unrecognized option: -Xj9
JVMCI119: Error parsing IBM_JAVA_OPTIONS java options - rc=-6
Could not create the Java virtual machine

Kindly suggest on this please.

Hi Experts,

We recently Changed our Solman Productive Client from 001 to new Client 200, which is client copy of 000.

We have also changed UME of Java Stack to Client 200.

Then we ran solman_setup on client 200, we are facing issue with "SM_INTERN_WS" User getting locked frequently.

We tried to resolve the issue by changing the password but still it is getting locked frequently.

We know that SM_INTERN_WS user is used for Internal Web Services Communication between solman ABAP and JAVA stack,

can anyone let us know how to resolve this issue?

We have copied SMCR to ZMCR. When i create the transaction, i see that the status comes up as open but as soon as i save it , the status changes to

Approved for development.  I checked the status profile and action profile and it seems to be correctly maintained ( i may be wrong ).  Is there any other place that i need to check to ensure everything is in place

I've updated my SAP-SulutionManger 7.0 EHP1 to SP27. Now, I've got a problem execute multiple actions one after the other in incident-management webdynpro ags_incident_trans.

Example: Opening incident in browser with webdynpro ags_incident_trans. --> push [Edit] --> choose [Action] "take in processing" and press [Save] --> choose next [Action] "complete" save and so on.

In SP26 this works very well. In SP27 I'm able to do only one action. That means, after doing one action, I have to close the inicdent and open it again to do the next action or I have to push the [Read Only] button and then the [Edit] button.

That's very annoying! So, is there any solution for it?

we have solman 7.1 including czech language.

When we are logged in system with CS language and we open view  V_TB003 (SM30) in client 000, there are titles and descriptions in czech language.

When we open same view in client 001, these titles and descriptions are missing (for czech language).

How can we transfer all czech translations into working client 001 ?

in SAP standard of Solution Manager 7.1 there are only IRT & MPT available for SLA measurement. Our process for Incident Management (SMIN/ZMIN) requires an additional time like MPT which can be interrupted by customer statuses.

In short we need:

IRT

MPT 1

MPT 2

Is there a way to copy MPT and all the stuff related to SLA management? Which adjustment do we have to do? Did anyone face a similar problem?

I'm currently facing a nasty issue during one of the steps of the Managed System Configuration in Solution Manager.

In the Managed System Configuration I'm trying to add a java only (7.31) system, but the step "Introscope Host Adapter" in phase "Configure Automatically" keeps failing with below error.

On instance : <java host>/J20

Wilyhost Agent configuration finished without errors, but on Enterprise Manager (<Wily host>:6001) no Wilyhost Agent was detected from host <java host>. Please check the log file jvm_smdagent.out whether the Wilyhost Agent could connect to the Enterprise Manager. If the Enterprise Manager configuration has been changed recently please restart the SMD Agent on OS level.

jvm_smdagent.out doesn't show a single warning or error, only INFO and everything looks good!

When I check Wily Enterprise Manager, I see the metrics for all components working properly.

I'm running Solution Manager 7.1 SP8 with LM-SERVICE 7.10.8.1

Wily Enterprise Manager 9.1.0.2, SAP management modules have been installed, bytecode agent also 9.1.0.2

When I check the system settings, all looks good.. The predecessor steps in the managed system configuration all finished with a green status.

Who can help me solving this issue that is giving me a terrible headache! :-)

Can anyone guide me on how to remove the keywords from project documentation? I have deleted the old keywords from a project and entered a new one. But when I go to Business blueprint and check the documents' attribute I could still see the old keywords in keywords drop down field.

I am really not sure how they are still appearing in the drop down when they are already deleted from the project.

Can someone tell me how could that be done?

I want to generate an ad-hoc EWA report in solman 7.1 sp8. I just could not find the correct link to do this. Automatic generation works fine every week.

I saw in some documents to go to "System Monitoring" work center. But I could not find that work center in my solman. Below are the list of work centers I have.

It is started and after some time it has stopped.

Can anyone advise us on how to go about a new requirement for SolMan 7.1 to trigger auto e-mails to several auto determined recipients (based on the categorization schemas) depending on the ticket priority (high, medium, low) and time elapsed?  This seems to be similar to the SLA escalations but in a slightly different perspective since the recipients vary depending on the time of the notification and the schedule of the notifications vary depending on the priority. Pls. help.

We copied SMCR and SMMJ to customZMCR and ZMMJ transactions.

Everything works great if I use standard SMCR to create Request for change documents, upon approval we get SMMJ - Normal change documents created fine from within SMCR transaction.

When we use ZMCR to create Request for change documents, upon approval we are expecting ZMMJ - Normal change documents to be created. The Change object ID/number is not getting assigned. It stays blank.

If I create a ZMMJ - Normal change document directly (not from ZMCR) then this gets created successfully.

I checked the below:

1. Number ranges are looking good as I can create a ZMMJ document directly.

2. Approval procedure has no issues

3. Predessor and successor document statuses are looking good

4. Copy Control rules are defined (added ZMMJ under ZMCR properly)

Following are the add-on tools currently we are in :

I ran RTCCTOOL tool and it shows missing SAP Notes for ST-PI (539977 & 1228898) and ST-A/PI (69455) and both are referring latest available ones only and unable to come to conclusion for direct up dation of above 2 add-on tools.

Request someone please clarify the above 2 doubts, if possible with any supported standard docs/notes please.
