Hello, I am attempting to update and add software to my 7.4 SR1 portal (T14).
I am using Maintenance Optimizer in a 7.1 solution manager (A11). the
current software, contain business packages from multiple EHP
for ERP. Thus, when I attempt to generate an XML file within
Maintenance optimizer for T14 with the technical system reflecting what
is accurately installed, I recieve an error stating that a successor
version of EHPx is installed and cannot proceed. the instructions
state to define only one EHP version in the technical system
definition. When i do this, for example, EHP4, I am able to generate
an XML file, however with warnings, and when I use this XML file, I
recieve an error in SUM "Validation of deployment queue completed with
error: The stack does not match the system. Probably the system was
changed after the stack was generated. Synchronize the system with SAP
Solution Manager and then generate a new stack. Product EHP4 FOR SAP
ERP 6.0 / NW7.01 with ID 01200615320900003195 is found in the system
but not in the list of expected system products in the stack. The
following SAP Note 1632586 may contain solution for the problem. "
which indicates that SUM is expecting information from more than one
EHP. I have deleted and recreated the technical system from SLD in
Solman multiple times. i have attempted over 60 attempts through
maintenance optimizer and generated 29 different xml files and stacks
which all fail with one variant or another of the error above. i will
continue to attempt these actions while I await your resolution.
