Non-SAP Application monitoring through Solman

Hi all,

We have to monitor few  non SAP system through Solman 7.1 Sp09.

basically we need to monitor the ABAP and JAVA and NON_SAP Systems.

But the client don't have "SAP enterprise support" contract with SAP Company.

1) In this case, is it possible to monitor the NON_SAP systems from Solution manager.

2) If NON_ABAP system is down, email notification triggered from solution manager to Clients.[representative]
