ChaRM: Connection between Transport of Copies and Change Documents

Dear everyone,

I am trying to find out where Solution Manager makes the link between the generated Transport of Copies (ToCs) of a Transport Request and the Change Document they belong to.

- I really like the feature, that in the Transport Management Assignment Block one can see the amount of all related ToCs in the "Transport of Copies" Column and can even click the number to see the most current ToC as well as all the Numbers etc.

Our situation is:

• we have several Transports of Copies on our satelite DEV System that were generated by ChaRM-Actions - however ChaRM never managed to report the ToC back to the Change Document (so it is not being referenced in the Transport Management Assignment Block of the Document)
• this results in the ticket not knowing that there is a new ToC. Therefore the Import Job does not collect the created Transport of Copies
• which leads to open Conflicts in the Downgrade Protection (Project Cycle), because the Project Cycle does find the "missing" ToC and the Conflict Pops up every time we try to release newer versions of ToCs to our QAS.

1. Did someone encounter this situation before?
2. Can someone please let me know where the link between the Change Document and the Transport of Copies of the corresponding transports are made (e.g. How and where is the flag for the most current versio of a ToC set?)
3. Do you have any idea how to either
   • link back the ToC to the Change Document it originated from?
     or:
   • completely "Ignore" the lost ToC?
