ZMCG (General Change) Status Not Updating

Hello,

We're running SM 7.1 SP07. I am testing our ChaRM prototype for an implementation project. There is a General Change transaction type with the status "Created". When I perform the Action "Set to In Process", an entry is made in the Text assignment block but the status of the General Change remains "Created". I have checked the configuration, line-by-line comparing ZMCG with SMCG, but did not find anything missing. Any ideas?
