Configure SAP CRM with Solution Manager?

Hi guys,

 

I came across a demo on a blog that showed how to configure ITSM in SAP CRM using Solution Manager.

 

Is there the same concept for any configuration in SAP CRM? I would like to know if it were possible to use it to configure other parts of SAP CRM (Service, Interaction Center or Sales). I'd rather do config in a "clean way" and have the relevant documentation already available instead of having to to it all manually via SPRO.

 

We're using SAP CRM 7.0 EHP2 and SolMan 7.1

 

Has anyone of you done it before? or is it just for ITSM?

does anyboy know, if there is a functionality, to display the Alert Inbox in Display-Mode?
I would like to display on a central monitor, all open issues.

But without locking the alerts.

CRM UI not visible incidents

Faced with a problem, create a user, add a role in SOLMAN, create incidents they can, and in Recent item see them, but finding them is not displayed.

What could be the problem?

Connection Monitoring - Not all connections are displayed

Hi experts,

 

I try to start with connection monitoring in Solution Manager - Technical Monitoring.

First impression - pretty good.

 

However, I have one problem, to get all RFCs from managed system.

I get the popup, that the backgroud-job did start to determine the connections, however also later I don't get all RFCs.

 

I've already checked the extractor-framework, which is active/green.

 

BTW, I don't get displayed any TCPIP-Connection, but the will also work, right?

Hi Experts,

 

I have successfully install my solution manager & successfully configured system preparation , basis configuration & managed system configuration on my solution manger .

 

I have also add my satellite system (Quality System ) into solution manager & configured all steps .

 

everything is green status &  I have also execute report RTCCTOOL into my solman as well as my managed system everything is green .

 

Now i want configure/activate & schedule early watch report/ alert for solution & my satellite system.

 

i have no idea please guide step by step .

 

i am close to complete my roll out project & its very important for me .

 

Please help me.

Can you please tell how to remove unnecessary search criteria for status. We use only ZMIN. other types of messages (SMIN, SMOR, YMIN) do not use.

is there a possibility to create also alerts for grey-metrics?
Or how to ensure, that a metric did not get in "grey-status" and will not be checked?

Hello Experts, I would like to know if there's a field in the CRM UI that allows me to choose the country from a dropdown or a pickup list, right now I have only found the field where you can put the ISO Code. Our System is Solution Manager 7.1 SP 11

ITSM VAR doesn't send test incident messages to SAP

Dear colleagues,

 

We created test incident message with SAP Component SV-SMG-SUP-TST.

We are trying to send  the test message, but all messages always left with status "Sent to Support".

In SLG1 transaction we have 2 errors:


Message not allowed

Message no. AI_CRM_IM_EXCH_OSS014


Action could not be successfully executed

Message no. SPPF_MEDIA002


Could you help us with this issue, please?

BRFplus to determine the Support Team and send mail

Hi Experts

 

In Solution Manager 7.1 i am configuring incident management.I have configured BRFplus to determine the Support Team based on the relevant

component category when a message is sent to the Service Desk. This is working by determining the service team.

 

Now i am facing issue in send an email to that Support Team once it has been determined.Attaching the error log.

 

Action : ZMIN_STD_FIND_PARTNER_FDT

 

 

 

Please help me to resolve this issue immediately.

Hello All,

 

I have created an implementation project in SOLMAN and configured a business blueprint against it.

 

While downloading business blueprint document I am selecting both 'Scenarios' and 'Business Processes' under Graphic, still I am unable to see any graphic in downloaded blueprint.

 

I have executed the macro and I can see all other details but not the graphic.

 

I am expecting that the graphic in 'Component View' tab will be downloaded in the blueprinting.

 

Is there any basic mistake that I am doing?

We have imported all needed certificates for the SSL in STRUST.

Default Sold-To Party (Partner Determination) on ZMCR

Hello,

I'm having a challenge that I shouldn't be this difficult and was easy to set up in 7.0.      We are now on 7.1 SP11.

 

I need to default the Sold-To Party on ZMCR, but it is not defaulting. It should default based on the ibase.

 

Here are my details:

1) There is no preceding document. ZMCR is the start of the ChaRM flow.

 

2) IB52 is setup....

3) The partner 151 in IB52 points to top of PPOMA_CRM...

and BP 151 is setup as a Sold-To Party in tcode BP...

4) Partner determination is currently using access sequence 0018.

But I have also tried access sequences AIC2 and AIC3.  None of them work.

5) I found OSS note 1165357 . It says ...  "

 

  • Execute the IMG Activity "Activate Partner and Address Inheritance, Change
    in the Past".
  • For IBase Category 01: set the flag in the column PInherit. and ensure that
    the flag is also set in the column IB Past. "

 

But in 7.1 SP11, the IMG task title does not include "Change in the Past".

But, looking at the task, it is missing one of the fields in the note. It is missing column "IB Past".

I set column PInherit per the note, but have not made any change for IB Past.  I'm not sure if this part of the issue or not.

I have a feeling it is just the access sequence, but none are working so far.

Any ideas?

I'm trying to create Request for Change in SOLMAN 7.1 SP5, but I'm getting the following short dump:

 

500 SAP Internal Server Error

ERROR: Exception condition "REFERENCE_IS_INITIAL" raised. (termination: RABAX_STATE)

Short text

     Exception condition "REFERENCE_IS_INITIAL" raised.

 

 

Any idea how to fix this? I was searching this forum for a solution and saw few topics regarding this issue, but could not find any solution as yet.

Job Monitor Alerts won't stop!!!

Grr...  ok, so I had configured some job alerts just to test out how well job monitoring/alerting worked.  turns out that it didn't work at all with the version of ST-PI and A/PI we were on.  So I upgraded ST-PI and A/PI and now my alert inbox is swamped.

 

I had set one of the job thresholds to 1 minute during testing, but since it didn't work I neglected to change it to a higher value.  So now I'm getting alerts for one specific run of a job, and I can't get the alerts to stop.

 

I have changed the thresholds to much higher values.  I have generated/activated/deactivated the job monitor.  I have changed the notification settings. I have removed that system from Technical Monitoring.

 

But that alert keeps coming!  Every minute.  Hundreds of them.  I can set a rule in Outlook to delete them, no issue there, but I really need to get this stopped.

 

Any ideas on why this is happening?  It appears that the configuration is not being changed no matter what I do in tech mon.

 

grr...  fix one thing, something else breaks..

SZENPLUGIN Web-UI error: Configuration only possible on domain controller

Hi,

 

I've installed the CTS_plugin on our Solman 7.1 system and trying to distribute it to the managed systems which are on a different TMS Domain with a Domain link to Solman. I'm using SZENPLUGIN Web-UI to validate and distribute. We are using ChaRM and would like to start using Downgrade protection and cross-system object locks.

 

First I select the managed system I want to distribute the plugin to and validate. Then under the Plugin distribution column there's a click-able link which says "Plugins not up-to-date" for the system I just validated. If I click on that link I see error in red "Configuration only possible on domain controller (system not contrlr)" at the top of the Web-UI screen.

 

Anyone knows what this means?

Does it have anything to do with the fact that it is on a different TMS transport domain?
