Hello everybody,
Some of our users are experiencing problems while working with incidents in SAP Solution Manager 7.1.
IE 11 crashes when they try to attach a file. Windows event log says EMET service makes it fail.
Has anybody been through similar issue? Is there any way to avoid it?

Is it possible to run a managed System with Netweaver 7.40 (SAP_BASIS 740) and working ST-PI 740 Version ?
I can remember that the Solution Manager always must have the same or newer version of the ST-PI component ?

I am working on Solution Manager 7.1 SP8 to trigger alerts from Solman System to my email id.
I have completed
1. System Preparation
2. Basic Configuration
3. Managed systems Configuration
4. Technical Monitoring
Actually the role SAP_NOTIF_ADMIN was missing for SOLMAN_BTC user, but now i have assigned that also.
I am able to see the alerts in SOLMAN_WORKCENTER but I am unable to get alert mails.
I can see the latest alerts getting created in SOLMAN for managed systems(e.g 2 minutes before) in alert inbox.
I have created my own customized template for technical system, instance, database and technical instance.
The alerts are getting generated with threshold what i have set. And i have also set auto-notification --> active for the metrics and alerts.
I am unable to find what could be the problem? Did I miss something? I have not created AUTO-REACTION methods in SOLMAN.
Kindly help me experts.

Hi Experts,
We have an issue,
There is a transport request "SIDK964328" (Created from ChaRM RFC) which is running in loop in development system.
Corresponding RFC status is "implemented".
This transport request "SIDK964328" is importing in other clients of development system only (Ex client 200, 300, 400). But this request is not importing in Quality system.
This is happening for few transport requests for one system (development system) and no issues with remaining landscape ChaRM transports.
Please refer below screenshots.
Can you please suggest how to fix this issue ?

I have a question related to Solman and HPQC integration. My company is tracking multiple releases in the same project in Solution manager. How should I set up the processes so that only the blueprint attached to the new scope is being added to HPQC?
I read that one method for delta blueprint generation is to create a new project with reference to the existing blueprint. I'm not sure how the new project should be linked to HPQC project. I'd like to keep everything in the same project in HPQC, to re-use the existing scripts.

I have created test script for tcode VT01N. To pass multiple outbound deliveries in Outbound delivery selection screen,
can I use DO-LOOP screen components? . It possibile can any one provide sample testscript using these screen components

We are planning for EHP upgrade,to list out the impact business process we are planning to implement BPCA.
I am trying to run BPCA in the system RS1,i selected EHP option in step 1 and in the step 3 i could not see any recommended support packages under support package name.
Am i missing some thing? could someone guide me.
Do i need to run TBOM before BPCA?
Could someone share document if you have any for configuring BPCA.

I'm trying to generate a test plan in solution manager (which I have successfully done in the past) and am receiving the error "TK102 - SAP System has the status 'not modifiable'". The subsequent error is then "TK425 - Invalid call sequence for interfaces when recording changes" and the test plan fails to create.
Nothing has changed with the system landscape, DEV is obviously modifiable and QAS is not modifiable as should be the case.
I suspected that a customizing transaction code slipped into the business blueprint, however I tried reducing the test plan creation to a discrete number of processes and transaction which I'm confident aren't related to customizing but I still get the error.
Does anyone have any pointers in identifying the cause?

We just configured ChaRM on our system but we are already facing a big problem. ChaRM controls the transport and dependecies between workbench requests marvelously, but there is a problem with customizing requests which is SAP doesn't block the modifications in na customizing object that is already being changed.
For example, someone creates a country via SPRO and creates a customizing TR, he then proceeds to test this configuration in DEV but wait the end of the release window to transport the changes.
Another person goes on SPRO and change the currency of the configurated coutry, he tests it in DEV and wait for the end of the release window to transport the changes.
The problem/question: will the system control this dependency and apply the two requests in the correct order in QAS and PRD? How does the system know the correct order to apply the requests? Is there any way to prevent more than one person to change the same configuration objetct (like workbench)?

I am trying to download SPS14 for Netweaver7.4 via Solution Manager 7.1 (SPS13) MOPZ transcation. SPS14 was released on 02/26/2016. Somehow when it come to target stack selection i can get only till SPS13.
Are there any wait period before i can download this SPS ? Any thoughts ? or Am i missing anything here ?

yesterday, I manually deleted an empty transport request in the development system. Bad idea, I know, because now, I get errors in the CharM ticket, because it still has a link to the transport request, which has been deleted.
How can I get rid of the broken link in the CharM ticket?

I have a question that I'm stuck on. In summary, I added a custom assignment block (a "form" table) in the AET in tcode SM_CRM in ChaRM transaction type ZMCR. The new custom fields are editable and saveable using the standard AET generated logic.
Following the same steps, I created another custom assignment block (also a form table) for ChaRM transaction type ZMAD - a Change Document.
The standard AET generated logic does not allow edit or save. This link has my related post that has the screen shots for my issue.

To allow the new fields to be editable, I generated the setter and getter methods and changed method GET_I_field. That works fine now.
I still can't get values entered on new field to be saved. Collection_wrapper->get_current is Initial. How do I bind the context node to the entity? I have tried a custom controller to try to bind it to BTAdminH, but that didn't work. Am I missing something?
Researching on here, I'm finding several posts on the topic, but nothing that clearly details what is needed. Is a custom controller needed? Where is additional code needed? Can anyone explain in detail what is needed to allow the new field to be saved?
