Where used list is not working for IMG nodes/Document in solar01
hi experts
In template project , we are using same IMG objects in different business processes and subsequent configuration document is attached to each IMG node in configuration tab. ( like same IMG node - define order types used in different business process configuration tab )
when i use " where used list " from the configuration tab , its not showing the IMG objects used in different business processes in the same project. whereas its showing the IMG nodes used in the different project.
I need to find out the same IMG objects/ document used in the same project using the " Where used list " button.
Please provide your answers
Note : we have linked one configuration document to same IMG nodes used in different business. " where used list " also not working for documents as well

unable to login to browser after running solman_setup
I'm getting this screen after running solman_setup in the Solution Manager server via SAPGUI. This screen is from firefox and it has the words "via popup" but no popup appears although I've checked if the browser has blocked any pop up.
IE / Chrome are having similar issue but without the words "via popup" in user and password boxes but unable to click on the boxes.
No error or any message when I click on Log On also.

E-Mail notification in Change Request by approval
Hello out there,
I'm trying for days to set up an automatic e-mail notfication for my change request transaction by workflow.
My aim is to trigger an email notification by saving after setting the approved activity.
I tried it with following workflow conditions:
E.g. by setting schedule condition on status "validation - E0014" and start condition on status "release for approval - E0012" everything works fine.
So I think the problem is the status "approved - E0004" ... maybe 'cause it isn't set by actions like the other statuses?
Any ideas?

I have to migrate from ITSM to another Service Desk system, and I have to export all tickets from SOLMAN. Is there any chance to do this without entering to every single ticket and clicking "export to pdf"? I'll be satisfied also if this will be another format, i.e. csv, html or anything else.

Integrate nagios with sap solution manager technical monitoring
Hello,
We are using nagios to gather the alert from the CCMS of the solution manager 7.1.
Recently we start using the Sybase ASE DB 15.6 and 16 on SAP solution manager and Business suite. As the CCMS is not provided to monitor Sybaseand the only way to check sybase info is through the dbacockpit and the technical monitoring I would like to know if a concection is possible between nagios and the system monitoring in Solution manager so we can gather the needed monitoring informations.

ChaRM, Track table update
Hi,
We are using Solution Manager 7.1, SP 10.
There are many Change Documents for which although Transports are moved to Quality system, but those Transports are not update in Track table internally (/tmwflow/track).
Due to update is not happening in table, we are not bale to set status of CD to "Successfully tested" as it check at backed whether Transports are ready to Import into Production or not. We got error "Transports are not flagged for import into Production" as no entry is there for those transports in Track table.
Can you p let me know how can it possible to include those entries in track table.??
Please note I have already tries running report " /tmwflow/rep_data_read " but of no use !!!!
Is there any other way ?

The paging rating depends on the ratio of paging activity to physical memory. A ratio exceeding 25% indicates high memory usage (if Java has been detected 0%) and values above 50% (Java 10%) demonstrate a main memory bottleneck.

CHARM process flow - normal change with project in Test phase
i am currently on SMP 7.1 SP6.
i am on a DEV --> TEST --> QA --> PRD model for managed system.
i am using a CHARM maintenance project to manage the phases of the project.
I change the phase of charm project to "Test".
In the 'Test' phase for normal change (SMMJ) transaction type; the system blocks the action "Pass Normal Change to test" and greys out "Test Transport" option. Which implies that the TEST/QA systems is in freeze and no new change can be imported to TE/QA system.
My question: is there an option where the system allows the migration of transports to TE system only ?
i understand the concept of freeze but in my scenario (requirement) i need to continuously migrate the changes to TE system only and the freeze will apply to QA system only. Basicly transport of copies can be migrated to TE system. i am also ok, if we have an option for "Test Transport" with the status of normal change staying in 'In Development'.
Any help will be really appreciated.

MOPZ error while generating stack file for EREC upgrade
I need to upgrade E-Recruitment 604 to 606.
Currently we are on Netweaver 7.01 While adding this system in SOLMAN 7.1 SPS 05 in order to generate
stack.xml file i manually selected this product system in product system
editor and we had selected below combinations
1)EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0/NW 7.01(marked as installed) + SAP ERP
-> started MOPZ with same and selected target as SAP ERP 6 EHP 7 but
while doing so got error as Invalid queue because EA_APPL is not selected
but actually EA_APPL is not in components for EREC system
2)EHP4 for SAP ERP 6 with ABAP technology and E RECRUITING + EHP1 for
NW 7.0
->started MOPZ with target as SAP netweaver 7.4 but while doing so
getting error as "EHP Component ERECRUIT 604 without suitable Technical Usage!"
and Mark relevant instance to include the software component ERECRUIT
604 in SMSY/LMDB but Product system editor is perfect and verification tool is also green.

Test Management in Solman 7.1
Hi All
We have installed SAP Solution Manager 7.1 and using its ITSM and Change Control Managment process successfully. We want to explore its test management functionality fully as well. As we went through all the documents online but unable to conclude anything.
SAP Solution Manager 7.1 is now integrated with Test Automation Framework , i have few questions regarding TAO.
Do we have to purchase SAP TAO (Test Accelaration & Optimization) and SAP Quality Center separately??
Other than that how can we benefit from test management offered by Solman 7.1 and how it is different from Solman 7.0 ??
