Oracle DB techmon metrics are gray

Where used list is not working for IMG nodes/Document in solar01

hi experts

 

In template project , we are using same IMG objects in different business processes and subsequent configuration document is attached to each IMG node in configuration tab.  ( like same IMG node  -  define order types used in different business process configuration tab )

 

when i use " where used list " from the configuration tab , its not showing the IMG objects  used in different business processes in the same project. whereas its showing the IMG nodes used in the different project.

 

I need to find out the same IMG objects/ document  used in the same project using the " Where used list " button.

 

Please provide your answers

 

Note : we have linked one configuration document to same IMG nodes used in different business. " where used list " also not working for documents as well

Issue while Upgrading Stack through Sum Tool in Solman

We are facing an issue while upgrading support packages in solution manager through Sum Tool using Stack.

 

System Details :

 

Solman Version : Solution Manager 7.1

Sum Tool Version : SUM 1.0 SP 11 patch 2

unable to login to browser after running solman_setup

I'm getting this screen after running solman_setup in the Solution Manager server via SAPGUI. This screen is from firefox and it has the words "via popup" but no popup appears although I've checked if the browser has blocked any pop up.

IE / Chrome are having similar issue but without the words "via popup" in user and password boxes but unable to click on the boxes.

 

No error or any message when I click on Log On also.

System : Parameter SAPEVTPATH not set. Batch jobs cannot be started.

Hi experts,

                When I upgrade the Add-on Installation Tool from version 7.00/0026 to 7.00/54, the system issued the error below:

 

   Import phase 'CHECK_REQUIREMENTS' (2014.08.29, 10:06:29)

   Error during executing the tp command 'tp CONNECT IDS   ...'

   tp return code: '0208' , tp message: 'error in transportprofil (param missing, unknown,.' , tp output:

     This is tp version 372.04.08 (release 700, unicode enabled)

     E-/usr/sap/trans/bin/TPPARAM could not be opened.

     EXIT

     ERROR:

     System : Parameter SAPEVTPATH not set. Batch jobs cannot be started.

     Error in /usr/sap/trans/bin/TPPARAM: transdir not set.

     tp returncode summary:

     TOOLS: Highest return code of single steps was: 0

     ERRORS: Highest tp internal error was: 0208

E-Mail notification in Change Request by approval

Hello out there,

 

I'm trying for days to set up an automatic e-mail notfication for  my change request transaction by workflow.

 

My aim is to trigger an email notification by saving after setting the approved activity.

I tried it with following  workflow conditions:

E.g. by setting schedule condition on status "validation - E0014"  and start condition on status "release for approval - E0012" everything works fine.

 

So I think the problem is the status "approved  - E0004" ... maybe 'cause it isn't set by actions like the other statuses?

 

Any ideas?

Host agent availability ping failed

Exporting All tickets from itsm

Hi gurus,

 

I have to migrate from ITSM to another Service Desk system, and I have to export all tickets from SOLMAN. Is there any chance to do this without entering to every single ticket and clicking "export to pdf"? I'll be satisfied also if this will be another format, i.e. csv, html or anything else.

SLA Determination Based on Support Team

Hi ,

 

I want to setup SLA Determination in ITSM based on BP-Support Team .

Can anyone give me some hints with that ?

I tried to assign SLA Profiles to the BP ("Accounts" in CRM_UI) , and used Access Sequence as "Organizational Unit (Service)" but it did not work.

Integrate nagios with sap solution manager technical monitoring

Hello,

 

We are using nagios to gather the alert from the CCMS of the solution manager 7.1.

 

Recently we start using the Sybase ASE DB 15.6 and 16 on SAP solution manager and Business suite. As the CCMS is not provided to monitor Sybaseand the only way to check sybase info is through the dbacockpit and the technical monitoring I would like to know if a concection is possible between nagios and the system monitoring in Solution manager so we can gather the needed monitoring informations.

ChaRM, Track table update

Hi,

 

We are using Solution Manager 7.1, SP 10.

 

There are many Change Documents for which although Transports are moved to Quality system, but those Transports are not update in Track table internally (/tmwflow/track).

 

Due to update is not happening in table, we are not bale to set status of CD to "Successfully tested" as it check at backed whether Transports are ready to Import into Production or not. We got error "Transports are not flagged for import into Production" as no entry is there for those transports in Track table.

 

Can you p let me know how can it possible to include those entries in track table.??

 

Please note I have already tries running report " /tmwflow/rep_data_read " but of no use !!!!

 

Is there any other way ?

 

Pl help, its urgent....

EWA report generation in Solution Manager 7.1 SP12

Hi Friends,

 

I am done with Managed System Configuration..

Now I need to generate EWA reports for the same.

But I am getting some inputs that, EWA is automatically configured in Managed System Configuration itself.

Can you guys suggest me accordingly..

4.1 Overview System PRD

General
This analysis focuses on the workload during the peak working hours (9-11, 13) and is based on the hourly averages collected by SAPOSCOL. For information about the definition of peak working hours, see SAP Note 1251291.

CPU
If the average CPU load exceeds 75%, temporary CPU bottlenecks are likely to occur. An average CPU load of more than 90% is a strong indicator of a CPU bottleneck.

Memory
If your hardware cannot handle the maximum memory consumption, this causes a memory bottleneck in your SAP system that can impair performance. The paging rating depends on the ratio of paging activity to physical memory. A ratio exceeding 25% indicates high memory usage (if Java has been detected 0%) and values above 50% (Java 10%) demonstrate a main memory bottleneck.

5 Business Key Figures

GREEN – the backlog is smaller than one day of typical daily throughput

Note

Overdue or exceptional business documents could be included in the measurements as a result of system errors (for example, user handling issues, configuration or master data issues, open documents on inactive organizational units or document types). Often, these documents are not processed further by the business departments and do not have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, revenue, or working capital.

Note however that these documents could have negative impacts on other areas such as supply chain planning accuracy, performance (of other transactions, reports, or processes), and data and reporting quality.

5.1 SAP Business Process Analytics

With SAP Business Process Analytics in SAP Solution Manager, you can continuously analyze the above key figures and around 500 additional out-of-the-box key figures for continuous improvement potential in your SAP business processes.

(1) You can perform internal business process benchmarking (across organizational units, document types, customers, materials, and so on) for the number of exceptional business documents and/or for the cumulated monetary value of these documents.

(2) You can perform an age analysis to measure how many leftovers you have from previous years or months.

(3)You can analyze a trend for these exceptions over a specific time period.

(4) You can obtain a detailed list for all of these exceptional business documents in the managed system and perform a root cause analysis to identify reasons why these documents are open, overdue, or exceptional.

ST-AP/I is upto date,

Could you please suggest what needs to be done for this data collection

CHARM process flow - normal change with project in Test phase

i am currently on SMP 7.1 SP6.

 

i am on a DEV --> TEST --> QA --> PRD model for managed system.

i am using a CHARM maintenance project to manage the phases of the project.

 

I change the phase of charm project to "Test".

In the 'Test' phase for normal change (SMMJ) transaction type; the system blocks the action "Pass Normal Change to test" and greys out "Test Transport" option. Which implies that the TEST/QA systems is in freeze and no new change can be imported to TE/QA system.

 

My question: is there an option where the system allows the migration of transports to TE system only ?

i understand the concept of freeze but in my scenario (requirement) i need to continuously migrate the changes to TE system only and the freeze will apply to QA system only. Basicly transport of copies can be migrated to TE system. i am also ok, if we have an option for "Test Transport" with the status of normal change staying in 'In Development'.

 

Any help will be really appreciated.

I am generating Xml Stack for ERP 6.0 EHP7 System from Solman 7.1. (SPS12) system. During Mopz Configuration--> Confirm Selection

 

I am getting below Error

 

An exception with the type CX_SY_MOVE_CAST_ERROR occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause

MOPZ error while generating stack file for EREC upgrade

I need to upgrade E-Recruitment 604 to 606.

Currently we are on Netweaver 7.01 While adding this system in SOLMAN 7.1 SPS 05 in order to generate

stack.xml file i manually selected this product system in product system

editor and we had selected below combinations

1)EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0/NW 7.01(marked as installed) + SAP ERP

-> started MOPZ with same and selected target as SAP ERP 6 EHP 7 but

while doing so got error as Invalid queue because EA_APPL is not selected

but actually EA_APPL is not in components for EREC system

 

2)EHP4 for SAP ERP 6 with ABAP technology and E RECRUITING + EHP1 for

NW 7.0

->started MOPZ with target as SAP netweaver 7.4 but while doing so

getting error as "EHP Component ERECRUIT 604 without suitable Technical Usage!"

and Mark relevant instance to include the software component ERECRUIT

604 in SMSY/LMDB but Product system editor is perfect and verification tool is also green.

Test Management in Solman 7.1

Hi All

 

We have installed SAP Solution Manager 7.1 and using its ITSM and Change Control Managment process successfully. We want to explore its test management functionality fully as well. As we went through all the documents online but unable to conclude anything.

 

SAP Solution Manager 7.1 is now integrated with Test Automation Framework , i have few questions regarding TAO.

 

Do we have to purchase SAP TAO (Test Accelaration & Optimization) and SAP Quality Center separately??

 

Other than that how can we benefit from test management offered by Solman 7.1 and how it is different from Solman 7.0 ??
