ERP 6.0 ECC on NW 7.02 requires an installed EHP5 Product Version!
We are on Solution Manager 7.1 SP08. I have re implemented Master note, corrected duplicate entries in Ibase, LMDB synchronized successfully but issue still persists. Please advise.

I am trying to register SAP BOBJ DATA Service4.1 system to Solution Manager SLD via SLDREG program.The OS level command ran with no errors and it was successfull.
Please find the attached screen shot.
Even though the command execution was successful, only part of the data was registered on Solman SLD. The actual appliction information was not updated.
Could someone Kindly guide me where exaclty i went wrong or is there any step by step guide that i need to follow to connect SAP Bobj DATA Services syetm to SLD.

I have done solman_setup on Solution Manager 7.1 , and now i am trying to use maintenance optimizer. When I start new Maintenance transaction and enter solution, product version and production system and then click continue I get en error "You are not authorized to perform the activity selected last".... I searched for solution, checked authorization for solman_admin, but nothing seems to work... Could anyone give me advice on this?

We want to activate the standard configuration of “Send E-Mail to Message Processor with Info from SAP” so that an email will be sent to message processor whenever there is reply from SAP for OSS raised through an Incident form Solution Manager ITSM.
Below are the steps we have performed for same.
Step1. Activated the standard Action Definition ” Send EMail to Message Processor with Info from SAP”
Please refer the image namely Step1 and Step2 attached.
Below are processing type maintained by default.

We have also maintained the Message Processor email address in SU01 profile as well as in BP transaction.
But still an email is not triggered to message processor when there is an reply from SAP for same.

We have implemented ChaRM in Solman 7.1 system. I am restricting user authorization in ChaRM CD by giving the exact authorization keys in Auth. Object 'B_USERSTAT'. In our workflow, the person who creates the CD doesnot have authority to move the CD to "In Development".
The "In Development" authority is given only to an user 'ITSME'. So in the ITSME role when I gave the authorization key "YMHF_01" for action "In Development", I am getting the following error "User status could not be set because of the status profile customizing" and the CD status is not changed from "Created" to "In Development". But if I give the created authorization "YMHF_00" to the same ITSME role in authorization object "B_UserStat", the user is able to change the status from "Created" to "In Development". I tried with the standard authorization SMHF_00 and SMHF_01 and I am getting the same error. Can you please help in solving this issue?

I am doing the Change request management setup for the SOLMAN 7.1 SP8, I have encountered the configuration item as "Create hierarchy for material products". However I had tried to find purpose of this step.
I have found that LMDB and CMDB objects will be created and we can create the configuration items for them and we can use them as reference objects and it can be used in the change request management to find the configuration item etc.
I just wonder to see the practical scenarios or application/usage of this along with the creation of hierarchy for the services/ services catalog.
I had already gone through many SCN discussions which explain how to execute these steps. In the charm setup guide, I m not able to find much about the application and usage of this.
Please suggest or any information links .

I configured Solution Manager with System Preparition, Basic Settings, Managed System Configuration and ITSM.
All looks OK, but there are two things that worries me:
1) CRM UI is not working - I'm able only to send tickets through the WORKCENTER. I was expecting, that when I use automatically created roles and users (including Business Roles SOLMANREQU and SOLMANPRO) CRM UI is working just out-of-the-box. What do I miss?
2) I copied Transaction Type SMIN to ZMIN. Do I also have to copy Action profiles from SMIN? Because it looks that when I do that, all conditions are not copied - so I should schedule them manually - it's seems to be quite big job.

We are just starting a project. Solution Manager 7.1 has just been installed and we waiting for the ECC on Hana system to be installed. Meanwhile we need to create an Implementation project and define the img. Is this possible? I have the Virtual System document but it mentions that the Dev system has to be created (non-virtual).
We want to create the project and upload a template to get this project started asap.

Systems:
SM 7.1
Managed system - OS Release: HP-UX B.11.31
Goal:
exclude one, or more, file systems (../sapdata155)
Template/Metric – HP-UX / File System Used (%)
The following excludes 155 and 51. Includes *only* /oracle/* (as expected)

The following excludes 155. But includes *only* /oracle/* (not as expected)
Does not report on /opt , /home , /usr , or other though it should include these..

I am still using the Solution Manager 7.01 with ST-400 SP 0026. We are installing (ESS) HR RENEWAL 1.0 and we were successful in implementing it in sandbox, developemnt and quality assurance. I am already generating the XML for production system, but I am having an error message "Successor installed for SAP Travel OD INTEGRATION 4.0". I did not encounter this error in all the other environments. Is SOLMAN more strict on production environments? I am reading some documents and came across a landscape verification too - add on.
It seems the SMSY is not detecting all the other products thus causing the error.
Please advise if I am in the right track of resolving the issue. May I also ask what you did to resolve your issue?

I'm configuring TREX with Solution Manager for Full Text Search Configuration for SOLAR01. But not successful.
I've checked RFC with Solution Manager & TREX is working.
Did index activation for IBWSOLAR in SKPR06 ( DRFUZZY & VERTIFY)
Created Search Server Relation in SRMO & checked RFC is working.
Did , complete re-index through SKPR07 for IWBSOLAR document area.
Executed report RSTIRIDX_REINDEX for IWBSOLAR document area.
Finally created batch job for RSTIRIDX
But when checking the spool it's not indexing any document.
Looking for help.

system preparation and Basic configuration is performed completely successfully
managed system configuration is also performed completely and successfully
but after couple of hours FQDN vanish from the LMDB. i have tried resynchronize LMDB FQDN comes again saved it and later after couple of hours it vanish again. is it a bug ? any work around is available?

I am reading some information in the help.sap.com regarding the functionality of Cross System Object Locking. My customer is looking to apply this for ChaRM to ensure that objects (i.e. programs) are not modified until a previous change request is finished and transported into production.
I would like to get more info how to apply it, which customizing is required (in ChaRM and satellite systems), and advantages and drawbacks of this technology.

Hello everybody! We are patching to SPS12 a new installed Solution Manager 7.1 with ASE 15.7.0.122 During extraction phase of SUM (ver 1.0 SP11) we have this error: "The tool DBSL needs at least patch level 432 or higher" But we have downloaded and installed the latest kernel avaiable on marketplace: 720_EXT_REL 64 bit Unicode patch 700. I log in as a user j2ee_admin then informed that "the website can not display the page" , i show detail is:

I am a "refresher" in Solution Manager. If I build a test case(s) then can I download the MS Word document as a template for the testers? Again in this scenario I would not automate the test case at all.
We would like all of these kind of documents to follow a test template style.

During the managed system configuration, i got the error that ISAGENT doesnt fulfill the prerequisite,
I am using Solman 7.1 SP12
So, i downloaded the wily and LM service patch, and tried SUM for support package install. But, the SUM is not able to read the SCA files.
Please guide.
