When i am trying to down load packages from SMP they are appearing in approval list in download manager but when i am going to solution manager to approve packages in se38 and executing program /TMWFLOW/RMOBASKETAPPROVAL i am not getting those packages there for approval. my ID is maintained in AISUSER with suser id.
can you please help me on this , why i am getting this behaviour...

DV2->QA2->DV1->QA1->PP1->PRD - Project Landscape
I have two queries
1) In Maintenance Landscape, how we can carry on transports from PRD to DV2 ? if DV1 and DV2 are retrofitted already then how CHARM behaves ? any other implications ?
2) In Project Landscape, how system will behave or implications once transport reach DV1 from DV2 ??

we successfully installed SAP System in HA environment.
We have one virtual host and 2 Servers A and B, where only one node has all the sap and db resources.
Currently we have all the sap and db resourses on node A.
Question:
Which Diagnostics Agent approach should we apply?
a) 2 DAA agents on host A and B
b) DAA in on-the-fly-approach
c) only DAA installation on active host

I appended the structure BUS_RESULT_TC to be able to have "SAP Customer number" in BP transaction, VAR scenario. Any ideas which table should be appended also to store and read that data from, possibly automatically, without modification or with minimum modifications. It should be append because synchronization job is overwriting standard fields. There is CRM help documentation, Enhancements with the Easy Enhancement Workbench in SAP CRM and
Adding New Fields to the Business Partner, any experience with that?

I registered our BO system in SLD.
After that I maintained the LMDB.
I got a lot of automatical entires with SBOP BI PLATFORM 4.1.
However, i can not activated on any of them the "Diagnostic Relevant" flag.
I always get error message LMDB_BO009.
What does it mean and how can I solve this?

We have Installed Solman 7.1 and a SRM 7.0 Ehp 2 system copy done through Export and Import in one server.
We have completed Solman configurations and added SRM system through MOPZ and generated Stack for SP level upgrade. But while running SUM tool getting an issue as below..

In this note, it is indicated (since v25) :
(20) Enabled functionality to export monitoring object list to MS EXEL (only valid as of SP11).
I would like to know how I can export my monitoring list ? I don't find the Export button.

Hello everybody,
Some of our users are experiencing problems while working with incidents in SAP Solution Manager 7.1.
IE 11 crashes when they try to attach a file. Windows event log says EMET service makes it fail.
Has anybody been through similar issue? Is there any way to avoid it?

when i opening a ticket on our solman, i see systems as ; Description : "invalid ibase component" and "Component : 00000000"
when i create a ticket on solman it gives error like "You are not authorized to create a message for this SYSTEM or CLIENT"
User have all auth. also defined in BP number. Identification tab is correct as

Also defined in Employee(maintained) userid.

When user is creating an incident in Solution Manager VAR scenario, he can type in arbitrary text in "Configuration Item" just to be able to go Next. When "Configuration Item" is not correctly filed "Sold-To Party is empty. Please check the image. Is there a way to secure proper user entry?

Hi all,
I created a Change Request (ZMCR) with two follow-up Change Documents (ZMMJ) in scope.
For one Change Document, I made changes to the system and imported the TR into production. The final status of this is now "Imported into Production".
For the second Change Document, I withdrew the change document. I did not create any TRs or whatsoever. The final status is "Withdrawn".
My expectation was, that I can now bring the Change Request to a final status (preferably "Confirmed" or "Realized"), as the change (or part of it) have been implemented.
But I can only set "Scope Extension" or other early status values ("Validation" etc.).
Can anyone explain, if (and why) this is standard behaviour?
And can anyone guide me how to bring a "half-implemented" Change Request to a good end?

I am going nuts on the Technical Monitoring with SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 12.
I have spent sooooo much time to configure things, and again, there are quite a few
frustrating errors.
No matter what I do, I keep receiving fake alerts about systems down, whereby the
systems are up and running.
When I click on the Managed Object column in one of those fake alerts, I am getting
the following very nice message:

Recently I’ve configured EWA for a productive ECC PRD, but the request session task for EWA takes around 10 hours to be generated. Most of the time is taken in some steps as shown in the following lines between 2:54 to 6:43 and between 06:43 to 10:41. After these steps the process finish.

i am trying to add some custom metrics for MaxDB database template, since there are a couple of essential metrics missing in the standard template.
For example: Return Code of Last Data Backup
Also there is a bug in the MaxDB metric "Log Space occupied", which got solved by creating a new one with the correct "Key Figure" Name.
There are many ccms (rz20) database metrics available on the managed system, which runs on MaxDB. The problem is, all of these DB metrics got a MTE-Class which contains the SID of the system. Example: SDB_backup_data_rc_smcl_<SID>
But i need this MTE-Class to be system-independant.
Anybody know how this can be realized ?

I have installed willy 9.1.5.0 version in my solution manager it has installed successfully .
but when configure wily introscope into solman_setup basic configuration step 3.1
i click import existing installation & i have succesfully import wily introscope into my usr directory .
:\usr\sap\CCMS\apmintroscope & then i gave admin password by using user management tab .
but when i click into save it giving some warning as show below.
Warnings occured while updating the EM Technical systems in LMDB :
EM Instance SOLMGR:6001 -> Cannot create Wily Technical System with name "U0442928220_6001_E__USR_SAP_CCMS_APMINTROSCOPE.SystemHome.solmgr" caused by : Instance already exists: SAP_ISEMServer.CreationClassName="SAP_ISEMServer",
why it give this error while didn't configure any wily introscope before .
and after above warning Enterprise manger is offline as shown below .
please give me any solution to solve this error.
i stuck into this step. please help me...

Hi experts,
we are using Solman 7.1 SP8.
There I have the following problem.
I've scheduled a workmode (e.g. 08:00 to 23:00).
If I want to schedule a downtime between 13:00 and 14:00, after the workmode did already start, I always get an error message.
Is there an easy way to schedule downtimes in IT-Calender?
If the affected workmode is not already started, I get asked if I want to postpone/split it, thats ok.
But if it is already started, it does not work.
And the other thing is, if I schedule a downtime for a database i don't get this error.
But in that case 2 workmodes are activate at the same time and it is not switching to the "planned downtime" mode.
Does anybody have an idea on this?
Also, how can I schedule a workmode/downtime on a Host?

System Configuration
1) windows 2008 64bit
2) oracle 11g
3) solman 7.1
I have downloaded the all solman 7.1 DVD from SAP site
As per the require i have done all prerequisites task (like oracle 11g install without database)
When I started the installation:
SAPInst --> SAP Solution Manager 7.1 --> "but SAP system is not Showing"
I have uploaded the installation screen.
Please give me a step of guide how do install. I would be very grateful if anyone could help me resolving that issue!

I am facing issue that The Q-Gate is not passed for implementation project but it is allowing to execute the task list.
BASIS is trying to import the trs in to Qual it is allowing them to run the task list and also it is not importing the tr's.
Setting is like it should give BASIS message like 'gate is not passed' and should not execute the task list.
Any Idea Experts what could be the reason??
