Hi Guys!
So in our landscape we have Solution Manager in a dual stack, and i've noticed that we have the JVM disabled, in all environments.
This doesn't seem to affect functionality since we mostly use it for ChaRM and RCA.
So I was wondering, is it just our landscape or is the jvm not used in a dual-stack?

As per new updates in NW 7.4, we can't install both ABAP & JAVA stack together :
In this scenario , I have proceed to install a solution manager test system as follows :
1. Install Solution Manager 7.1 ABAP stack with HANA (NW: 7.4) in SLES (SP3) :
=> As both HANA & ABAP instances are in the same host , so both SIDs are different over here .
Following option has been chosen in latest SWPM :
2. Install the JAVA stack in the same host by using same HANA system [It didn't allow to keep the same SID as ABAP instance] :

It seems , I am doing some mistakes over here . Could you guys suggest the process to be followed over here to install SOLMAN 7.1 with HANA ? I have checked in /instguides , but didn't find proper installation document .

Hello all,
I am running /solman_setup, and at step SetUp LMDB, when I click Add under "Synchronization Connections between SLD and LMDB"
I am getting "Cannot read HTTP connection LMDB_SyncDest1"
I created the RFC, "LMDB_SYNCDEST1" with connection Type "G" manually, which works fine.
The user used in the RFC is SLDAPIUSER, and has SAP_SLD_GUEST and SAP_J2EE_ADMIN roles.
When I click "Configure LMDB Object Server', the LMDB Object Server name was set: LMDB_<sapdbhost>. Parameter sapdbhost I only have it in default profile.
I dont understand what did I missed at "Content synchronization from SLD to LMDB is not configured:
Can you please suggest me something?

Hello together,
we want to use the message flow monitoring.
We connected the PO System and some Business System through the managed
system setup of the solution Manager. Also we completed the technical monitoring steps.
We setup the Integration Visibility Steps in the PO System and run the discovery and all the other steps which are described as prerequisites. When we created a message flow group (with two flows) and we want to subscribe we get several erros.
On the top of the window we get the following error messages:
- You have to define a technical system
- There has been an execption
.....
And if you click on the details of the error there is the following error message:
"Web-Service-Error during Subscribtion"
The SLG1Log for E2E_EXCMGT/SETUP says the following:
"No input provided"
Please help me to find the error....

We have created many custom status for Request for Change (ZACR) and
additional Business partners functions as well.
After created RFC, it should go to next responsible person which is
ops manager ( Business Partner : Ops Manager ZACR001h).
When this business partner logon in CM_CRM, at his home screen in
"Assigned Me" widget its not showing RFC which is he is responsible for
those RFC.
I have maintained "Specify Partner Assignment and check " for ZACR
transaction type.
User Status Current Business Partner 4-eyeprinciple
E0001 ZACR0003 SDCR0001
Please let me know your comments/solution on this.

Dear Experts,
We are configuring the solution manager 7.1. We created a new client 200 and we performed client copy from 000 to 200 and we continued with system preparation. Every step in the configuration in system preparation is getting successful(green), But while the step 6.3 connect diagnostic host agent i am getting the error. Please find the attached screen shot. I gone through the SAP note 1663549, But it was not working.

User solman_admin keeps getting locked by sapjsf. I assume its a bad password entered somewhere. I can't figure out what process is doing this. I checked all RFC's and the one that uses solman_admin has the correct password.
Any ideas on how to identify the process or configuration or places to look would be greatly appreciated.
We're running Solman 7.1 sp8.

Hi Experts,
We have created a webservice to upload documents to Portal KM using an application WebdDynpro ABAP .
We have created Logical Port for Portal but Ping Web service is getting failed, I am getting the below error Message
Web service ping failed (RC=401). Service Ping ERROR: Unauthorized, please find attached Screenshot for the same.
We have checked this note,
1822831 - Web Service Soap Errors in solman_setup.
Can you please provide the solution, if this configuration apply in this case?

SLA was working before patching, after I patched the system to SP13 from SP12, It seems SLA is stopped working.
from the below screen you can see IRT and MPT remains as 0%
Central Notes implemented successfully after patching and I re checked all the Configuration for SLA, nothing was changed,
below are the scheduled actions for the incident
is it required to do any activities after patching in terms of SLA to get updated

I am stuck in problem while checking the project for charm activation.
I created a project in my solution manager . and assigned a logical component . and created a IMG for dev system.
now i clicked check before activating charm for project .
i am getting the error

Dear All,
We have Installed SAP Solution Manager 7.1.
We prepared SLD.
Now we are to connect managed systems to SLD.
For which we have to use transaction code "LMDB" But when we executed this transaction we are getting an issue.
1. First we got, "SAP Landscape Verification for SolMan.
ABAP Web Dynpro Services not active. Active? This may take some time."
we continued by clicking on "Yes".
2. Then we got a new boxthis:
"Internet Explorer Security
A Website wants to open web content using this program on your computer."
3. And finally, i got this in internet explorer.
SAP NetWeaver
Protocol cannot be switched to HTPPS, HTTPS is not configured/active.
SSO logon not possible, logon tickets not activated on the server.
etc.
Kindly guide us from this.
I get same message for the transaction codes like "SOLMAN_SETUP"
and "LVSM" also.

I am trying to register a new Solman System into my existing Solman SLD.Application Server JAVA is being shown in Solman SLD but not in LMDB & SMSY.My Solman is 7.1 SP14.
How can I sync LMDB & SLD data?

We have an issue where documents are not displayed for some users in Related Charm documents section. This section is populated with Charm document number if dependent document numbers option is chosen. I have checked with security and they said it is not something related to Authorizations.
Can you please provide your suggestions or anyone has seen this issue before?

We have upgraded the solman from 7.01 to Solman 7.1 , Now We are in the phase of LMDB migration from SMSY , Data read from SLD to LMDB is finished.
Here most of the Product system is red in status , Only some of the product is green in status here , Once i tried Migrate Select system its given the message "Product system already exist in LMDB"
Now please let us know what we have to do in this step. How to proceed further ?

Dear Support members,
While doing managed system configuration of ABAP/JAVA cluster( XI and Portal) systems, Step 2 Prerequisite check ended with the below error
JAVA': Host 'mucsva1c1' must have at least one Installed Technical System.
Technical system and product system assigned properly, and verification check is green, I could see the central service instance defined properly in the technical instance tab, and also in SLD have checked the Central service instance assigned under prper Technical system class as double checked based on sap note Note 1419603, and also solution provided in the thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3154052 also could not help, caption is upated already in the SLD as mentioned in thread, but still we are getting the error,
Any one faced such issue ? Please share your solutions?
A request was sent from Development team to decouple a transport from Charm document. I have selected Transport and tried to de-couple it and got the following error " Unable to decouple request due to not-imported transport of copies DWXXXX". Development team does not want this transport. Any ideas on how to solve this issue
