Custom App. Proc. read only up to Validation - Partner Functions to control approval

Good night:

 

We have 2 questions about the approval process with 2 approvers and the partner function.  Many thanks for any light you can shed on this.

 

Question 1. 

We created a 2 step approval procedure.  The problem we have is that in ZMCR, in the Approval Assignment Block, the Activity column for the two approvers remain editable during phases Created and Validation.  We want to have them display in those 2 initial phases.   

 

We know we could fix that with the help of our ABAP Developer, but we are pretty sure we can do it through SPRO, but we have not been able to find out where.

 

As-is we have an issue and it is the fact that a user in Create or Validation can "play" with those fields and choose Approve for each of the them, which creates an inconsistency when ZMCR actually moves to phase Approval, because Charm finds that the 2 steps where already approved, and does not reset them to display only for the respective teams to approve.

 

 

Question 2.

In our 2 approval process, we have one step to be executed by partner function SDCR0002 = Team Lead, and the other one by partner function SDCR0003 = Change Manager.

 

We made the users Team Leader or a Change Manager through PPOMA_CRM, where we created 2 respective organizational units hooked to BPs, one Org unit for Team Leaders and the other one for Change Managers.  Within those Org Units we assigned Positions (S) and to those positions respective BPs with their User Accounts.   We thought we had everything under control, but then we realized that the solution was not checking anything with regards to that.  In fact, we traced security and we found that only partner function SDCR0001 (Requester) was being checked through authorization object CRM_ORD_OP.  It was looking for values PARTN_FCT=SDCR0001;PARTN_FCTT=0007;ACTVT=03.     No wonder why anyone could approve.

 

So the questions could be:

 

2.1 How do we control that a BP or a user is assigned the partner function Team Lead or a Change Manager?

2.2 If that is through SAP security, by having a role for TL nd another one for CM, then how can we enforce that CRM_ORD_OP is checked when approving for PARTN_FCT=SDCR0002 or SDCR0003, respectively?

Hi all,

 

Configured CDMC and CCLM,

 

when i try to activate Statistics Collection i receive message Program CNV_CDMC_CA_COLLECT_UPL_STAT can not be deleted

And activation button is inactive... how to overcome this ?

Can someone tell why BW queries does not exist in system? Solman 7.1 SP08

I have read some note that says: SAP should import queries to your system. something like that, does it mean i cannot use it without SAP ?

SLD Not Showing Kernel and IGS Versions

We recently upgraded our Solution Manager system (SOL) to 7.1 SP08.  All out systems are connecting to the SOL SLD.  All systems are on Windows 2008 R2 and MS SQL 2008 R2.

 

Everything looks good, except that I can't get our systems' kernel and IGS versions to show up in the SLD, which causes weird things in the LMDB down the road.  I found some OSS notes, e.g. 1700074, but we are running kernel 7.20_EXT patch 402 on both the sending systems and in SOL, so we are way beyond the patch level for krnlreg.exe and krnlreg.xml that we needed.  I even downloaded the latest dw_utils (patch 417), but it doesn't change a thing.

 

Does anybody have an idea?

SAP TAO - Can not connect to SAP System

I am new to SAP-TAO.  I was trying to connect SAP using SAP-TAO, it gives me error "Cannot connect to system, Function module AGS_CHECK_EDITION not found"

Hello,

 

i have a Solution Manager 7.01 with SAP_BASIS 7.01 SP 13.

I make a mopz transaction to upgrade the Solution Manager to 7.1.

In Solmanup, when i upgrade it stops with error:

 

The following CRTs of the Add-On "ST" rel."710" must be included as well:

CRT "SAPKITL709" for Support Package "SAPKB70213" of software component "SAP_BASIS" rel."702"

 

There is no available SAPKITL709 to download. SAPKB70213 is in the downloaded stack.

 

Please help.

Action not displayed under "More" in Incident

I have created a new custom action (copy of Email to Reporter standard action) in my action profile.  I want this action to be available as a "clickable" action in the Incident.  I am including a screenshot of my Action Settings.  From the other threads that I have read it seems that I should only need to have "Display in Toolbox" selected.  However, even with that option selected it still does not display in the Incident.

Satellite system to be added to more than one Solman system

If yes, what would be the approach? Do I need to install teo SMD agents on the satellite server?

I have assigned templates and activated system monitoring in solman 7.1 and alerts are being triggered.During maintenance I need to switch off the alerts based on SID's. Let me know the settings on how to do this.

Service desk report incident status changes

Hello,

 

Is there any standard option to get an overview of incidents which have changed their status in defined time period? e.g. I'd like to know how many incidents went from status "new" to status "work in progress" for last week. There is quite a lot of selection fields in incidents search in CRM WebUI with an graphical view option, but I could not find an option to track incidents which came from one status to another.

 

I'll put here also other related question. Does anyone of you know how can I display the column which displays last activity (time/date) on incident in incidents overview (saved search) ?

   I have configured CCMS for triggering the alerts as  an email.

I am receiving an email when I triggerd manually but I have configured metod as an auto reaction method but I am not receving any mails automatically. can any one help on this issue.

Upgrade prerequisites for Document Management in Solution Manager 7.0

Hello Experts,

 

 

We have to upgrade our solman from 7.0 to 7.1 directly and in our current system we are using Document Management in Solution Manager.

Kindly let me know the impact of this Solman Upgrade for documents or if their is any prerequisite for document management before the upgrade.

 

 

Also please confirm if we have to only use the upgrade export DVD not the stack file from solman to upgrade it to 7.1.

Process Steps not appearing for Project Analysis (Cross tab selection for configuration)

Hi Everyone,

 

I have created a Project in Solman using T-code: SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN.

Next, I used T-code: SOLAR_EVAL for Configuration-> Assignments-> Cross Tab Analysis for multiple tab selections (i.e. Transactions, Configuration, Development and have chosen the Structure for Business Scenarios.

I have also chosen 'Display Completely' option and Logical component. However, when I get the output, I find only at the levels of 'Business Scenarios' and 'Business Processes' only. I do not get the 'Process Steps' and their corresponding T-codes.

 

Could you please let me know, what am I missing and what is the config/ master data that controls the appearance of process steps ?

 

Also, another question: Can you tell me how can I create my own templates that would be available as choices in the Template selection tab of Scope in T-code: SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN ?

I recently installed a solman 7.1 and i´m doing system preparation but I end up with this error here:

 

SLD server could not be reached : Error in processing of HTTP request:
(110)HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED

 

This happen on phase 6.1 when I´m creating the SLD. Please find the attachments for more details.

Poblems with Date SLA when i create a service request

When i create a service request the date of sla is not populated
correctly , priority default values is "Low", and i have a correct date configuration.


When i change priority in the header , Low to High , it work fine and i can see correctly all the date in the SLA section (if i change High value to Low is correct ).


I don't Know which  is the problem

The error in phase phase MAIN_NEWBAS/XPRAS_AIMMRG in Solman 7.1 from

SPS 7 to SPS 8.


This occurred also in the development environment and the message

628790 / 2013 requested to apply note 1827161. We apply this note before start

the upgrade, but the same error occurred in the production environment.

BP error in Solution Manager... Partner xxx is neither an employee...

Hello experts, I have two diferent BPs in my Solman who have the same roles in their respective users, but one of them cant put the status proposed solution,I saw one error in the header data : Partner xxx is neither an employee..., so I just entered in the employee part, the user. I attached 3 images with the error, the ppoma structure and the error log.

DAA agents in Distributed Installation

Hello,

 

Let me brief about our environment.

We installed our ABAP and Java systems as distributed installations with virtual host names in one Virtual machine( one IP address ).

scs<sid>

db<sid>

ci<sid>

 

These virtual host names are registered in DNS server.

 

Please clarify.

 

1)  I am new to Solution Manager configuration not sure about how to install SMD agents. Do I have to install three SMD agents for each virtual host name

or

One SMD agent is enough for whole machine.

 

2) One of the Solman consultants told me that, each virtual host name must have one SMD agent and one IP address.

   So in One ABAP system, I have 4 SMD agents , one is for SCS, one is for DB, one is for CI and one is for physcial host ( O.S ).

Is it so ?

 

3) He also suggested that I can use on-the-fly feature, so one SMD agent is enough for all virtual host names and O.S.

 

Please guide me.

MAI - CCMS monitoring for Jobs / Dumps

Hello,

in the new solution manager 7.1 Technical Monitoring it seems to be only possible to monitoring performance and availability by using SAP delivered content. But I have the requirement to monitor Job and Dump errors (for each new dump or aborted job I would like to generate one alert). So I created a custom metric using "CCMS Get Current Values" data provider and MTE "R3BPServerSpecAbortedJobs" for jobs per instance. This actually works - but the MAI generates a alert every 5 minutes (this is the configured refresh interval). The reason for this seems to be that the MTE R3BPServerSpecAbortedJobs always stays on the last reported value. The other dataproviders (CCMS MTE / CCMS MTE and Object) don't work at all.

Is there any way to configure the alerting infrastructure so that it generates only a new alert if the text value of the MTE changes (as it works in rz20 Alerts)?
