I'm currently trying to export the name of all Business Systems out of SAP Solution Manager (via LMDB). As SLD and LMDB are synchronized automatically, this Information should be available in SolMan. Is there any export functionality available?
I didn't find any standard within Landscape API.

Finally I managed to install SAP Solman with no error messages, install log itself looks good. Also I managed to start SAP Solman with the default instance 00, client 001 and succeeded with SAP* login. Also I executed Solman_setup transaction and finished the very first steps, but have stacked with SAP router, so therefore I did not manage to complete all procedures that are needed to be set in solman_setup .
I've opened the ticket with SAP and registered external IP address of my Solman server as my router's IP, firewall has been configured correctly – ping of SAP router's Ip returns positive values.
Configured SAP router on my end as it's written here: https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/saprouter-sncdoc at least i do hope that everything has been configured as needed, because no error messages is being generated
There are 2 issues that troubles me:
-When I execute saprouter –r –K "p:my data goes here" command prompt window hangs on 'trcfile dev_rout no logging active' screen and nothing happens (see printscreen) . I think that smth is wrong, but have no idea what can be cause of the issue.
-When I execute oss1 in SAP gui -> technical settings and add information to SAPROUTER 1 area press login information then I got pop up window which says that'Unable to connect to SAPNET message server….', so most likely SAP router configuration on my side is faulty?
From where do i need to start? Is there a way how to troubleshoot sap router from my side, or better to open technical message with SAP supp here?

The Landscape is as below :
Application Server (CI) - Host1
Message Server & ERS - Virtual Host on Host2 OR Host3 ( Cluster Envt - node failover ).
DB - Virtual Host on Host2
Host1 and Host2 are physical servers. OS is Windows.
We are using Solman 7.1 SP8 and its a Cluster Environment.
Now my question is when I use the On the Fly Agent Scenario as per the Agent Setup Strategy Document we run Solman_Setup --> Managed System --> hosts --> Select Hosts and run the configuration. Enable the "On the Fly Scenario" and here it automatically searches and selects the Instances running on the particular physical Host.
However, this is limited to the Instances which are already running on this server.
For Ex: MS & ERS are currently running on Host2
I run the "On the Fly Agent" setup for Host2 and these instances are read perfectly.
But when the node failover happens how does the Agent on Host3 find these instances since when the "on the fly" setup was run for Host3 these instances were not operational there.
If the above is correct then how should we maintain the different instances running on multiple hosts ? Do we add them manually by mapping on all the physical hosts where the instance could run ( primary & secondary ).
If not then please correct me.

I have problem with SysMonitor app for iPhone\iPad. Connected mobile app for SolMan used GW.
I have error after when I click adding some system to the Favorites.
Error is "Could not get XCSRF token"
I insert in SCIF path "/default_host/sap/opu/" service name "odata" row "~CHECK_CSRF_TOKEN=0"

Hello Gurus,
Recently we did a complete system migration for one of our system to a new set of hardware. We did perform a system cleanup in LMDB and SMSY before adding the new definition to our solman (same system name). This is a BW system.
During the process, we made a mistake by not stopping the SMD agent and sap host agent from the old servers and somehow the data are mixed up but we are able to clean it up.
In the last step of managed system configuration, in the "Configuration Check", we get an error:

Can anybody show me where exactly can we fix this without having to perform the clean up?
And also we believed this caused the load balancer check to get failed as well.

I have installed and configured two Solution Manager 7.1 systems in a two system landscape DEV and PRD.
In PRD system EWA does work, so in SDCCN the corresponding job is listed and also the job Service Preparation Check.
In DEV system EWA does not work although the configuration is the same I think.
As you can see the jobs EWA and Service Preparation Check are missing.
In the configuration of the Solution Manager of DEV you can see that the product is not in solution whereas in PRD the checkbox is activated.
In both systems I have configured the same configuration steps (Basic Configuration, System Preparation, Technical Monitoring, Managed System Configuration).
Can anyone help me?

Hello guys,
I cannot implement patches. When I try to implement them, my status of implementation getting stuck at "MOVE NAMETABS". I tried to restart my server, checked TP_DOMAIN file, everything looks fine.
I contacted SAP, they say that there is "#" symbol in services file (I use Windows Server 2008 R2) between sapmsSID and 3600/tcp, but when I checked everything looks fine. There is no such symbol.

We have Solution Manager 7.01 and, as its support is finshing at the end of this year, we are planning to upgrade to version 7.1. We plan to install it as a new installation, we are not going to upgrade it because it seems to be difficult. We will install it and then configure everything. I have an inquiry realted to SLD configuration that I would like to ask you.
The actual Solution Manager (7.01) is the central SLD for the ERP systems (development, test and production), and for the BI systems (development, test and production); and, on the other hand, each Portal system (development, test and production) has its own SLD. Which is the best (or more recommended...) method for the System Landscape Directory configuration when I install the new Solution Manager 7.1?

I have recently configured EWA for PI (ABAP+JAVA)system where I have deployed EM, agent and also configured managed systems for PI system, but if I try to check in workload analysis under root cause analysis, it is not giving proper output. Similarly EWA report is showing some important data is missing.
Could you please suggest where else to check the same ?

Hi,
I am encountering an issue wherein I need to release TR but can't be released since there is an inactive object.
I went into SE11 to check the inactive object then activate the object. But the status is still inactive. Please see attached screenshots.
Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

We have created two Categorization Schema with completely different content, one for Incidents (with only Incidents defined in the Application Area) and another for all other transactions including Problems. The basic functionality worked perfectly except when we create a Problem as a Follow-up Document from an Incident (or Incident from Problem). Then the entered categorization values are attempted to be copied and a warning message displays indicating that 'Schema ZXXXXX_SCHEMA, category XXXXX is not a valid assignment'. This is understandable since the values for the two schema are totally different. The warning message disappears when you save the new message and doesn't stop entry of any new categorization values. Is there any way to configure 7.1 to not copy Categorization data, specifically between two transaction types to stop the warning message? I couldn't find anything in Mapping Rules for Copy Controls configuration that worked.

Does anyone know about the relation between the "Group By" check in the monitors for BPA and the column under which the data is collected in the 0SM_BPMRH cube. if we display the data of the cube then beside the "Monitoring Object Id" column there are columns "Generic BPM Parameter 1-20"
Is there a specific relation that if I select the first group by option like "Company Code" then for that key figure the data would be filled in the "Generic BPM Parameter 1" column.
Also does anyone know about the DSO of this cube?

We have configured charm a long time ago. But from yesterday the support message is not getting created from production server. It is showing error as " Error in local message system : Error when opening an RFC connection "CPIC CALL : Message was not created "
I have just set up Charm.
Incident = ZMIN
RFC = ZMCR
Change doc = ZMHF
Everything work perfectly and I have my development system linked to a lab sytem where I can test the creation of Transports and the transport through lab Dev, Lab, Cns, Lab PRD.
Every thing is working perfect except for when importing the transport into LAB PRD system, I do get an error that transport cannot be imported due to component error. I circumvent this now by using STMS to import the transport into LAB PRD.
We are busy with Lab system refresh and lab PRD is not in sync with LAB dev iro to components and there is no urgency now to get these lab system syncronised.
I fully agree, that the component check is necessary, but is there a way to switch the check for component error "off" while testing the CHARM process in the lab boxes, so that I can test the import into PRD systems with CHARM and not via STMS.
