when I use t'code solman_setup, the link is not opening, instead it give an error below:
"HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
Also please find attach Trace file for disp+work.exe.
Urgent need help on this please.

We are using ChaRM 7.1 SP6 for the last 6 months. We have not yet activated BW for the same.
Now if I activate BI content, will backlog data ( Delta data) appear now.
What activity need to be done from BI side to bring Delta Data ( i.e. Old RFCs & CDs data)
Can anybody give the names of Cubes, Data sources for ChaRM 7.1 BW reports .

I am trying to restrict Developer to perform this Action " Approve Preliminary import" in normal change document. But still developer is able to perform this action and able to import TR into the test system.
I have adjusted "ZSAP_SOCM_DEVELOPER" for Authorization object B_USERSTAT but no luck.
Can you please let me know what else I need to check and configure?
Roles - Authorization key SMMJ_05 which is for "Approve Preliminary import" is not exist in BERSL field, but still developer is able to perform this action.

While performing managed system configuration in Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 08, in step 4. Assign Diagnostics Agent gives the below error:
SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED")
Could not ping web service on the solution manager java stack

Web service invocation problem on host <solman hostname> and port 8002 protocol : http logical port name : LP_WS_SMDAGENT_MONITORING
As there is a logical port LP_WS_SMDAGENT_MONITORING, I have checked step 4.3 Enable Web Services in System Preparation is already Green.
Any idea on how to trouble-shoot this?

Hi Experts,
In change management how the change request will be moved to Implemented status from being implemented.
As of now the change request is in being implemented status only how to bring it to the confirmed status there is no action available expect extend scope.
Even the change documents are in the confirmed status.

Currently when i click on New Request for Change under Common Tasks, it will direct me to Solution Manager IT Service Management page with below pop out.

We have a case here, we are going to implement the SAP Solution Manager 7.1 ITSM, one of the Business Processes is the Service Request, but they want to have an approval procedure for a certain SR.
Example: an employee submit for a SR requesting a new Laptop, now after the SR received in the IT Helpdesk, he will check the request and get the employee line manager approval before he proceed to fulfill the request.
How this can be done in the SR in ITSM ? Can we utilize the Checklist here? and if so can i assign a Task within this Checklist to the Employee Line
Manager who is out of the Organizational Model ?

Hi,
I have configured Business Process Analytics for monitors of Finance, Procurement and Sales. Taking these monitors as reference I have also created BPMon monitors. The data is being collected for BPA but based on that alerts are not getting triggered in BPMon for Sales and Procurement monitors.
When I checked in the managed system in /SSF/PTABBROWSER I found the BW_* packages for those monitors with namge Doc_List.
There are many entries, in millions, and so the extractor is not able to extract it to Solution Manager and thus the alerts are not getting generated.
The managed system is a production system.
Is it safe to delete these BW_* packages in the managed systems /SSF/PTABBROWSER so that new alert trigger can be started for BPMon?

I am setting up an alert notificatio in solution manager for IDOCs. It is working fine. But the requirement is to extend the functionality and add idoc numbers also in the same mail alert. I found a BADI "BADI_BUILD_MESSAGE" for this purpose and also i referred the note 1609090. please let me know how to debugg this badi?

i have activate the monitoring object in Solman but i noticed that when job log in the mnaged system is reporting the foloowing 'eror'
No Open monid found for the application monitoring data collection
i checked in solman and i regenerated the object and reactivated but i still get the same entry for the job BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1

For example:
I know there is a Incident 8000000982 and i need to know programmatically
if this a valid Incident which is stored on Database.
Do you have ideas or hints ?

I have couple of questions :
1) Is there a way to send out email notification to a person (IT manager) when an incident with high priority is created ?
I have tried PPF actions, but could not find correct Partner Func.for manager and was not successful
I tried BRFPlus, still no luck
2) How is it possible to send out "Solution Text" or "Log" in an email to reported by when status of incident changes to Proposed solution
Any thoughts on this ?

I configures ITSM incident management along with SLA.
everything was working fine but suddenly, the IRT percentage is becoming 100% even when we have time left to reach the threshold.
Please find below the screenshot.

I have created a Template Project and selected global ASAP template roadmap. My confusion is how to use roadmap in project because it it contains phases then milestones tab also contains different phases for a project so why we are using roadmap?
How we can add values to a project by using roadmaps?

I'd like to ask your help in understanding one point regrading the Product Version and Instance in Managed System Configuraiton in Solution manager (7.1 SP8).
While technical system was created automatically using RZ 70, I had to create manually the Product System.
First of all, how can I know if I have chosen the right ones?
In this case the system is:
SAP ERP Central Component 5.0
SAP_BASIS 640
Are the product instances and versions right? Could you please share any documentation how to automate this process or how to correctly chose?
I do not know if this is very obvious but the documentation addressing this issue is a little bit confusing in my opinion. And the terminology very "rich".
