I would like to maintain the work-modes of our systems (especially regarding technical monitoring and notification-system).
Therefore I go to workcenter->Technical Administration->WorkModeManagement and select the system which I would like to maintain.
But now I am confused.
There are two modes which I would like to maintain: "Non-Peak Business" and "Non-Business Hours".
I would like to maintain the following:
every day from 06:00 am to 17:00 pm it should be "Non-Peak Business".
And anytime else it should be "Non-Business Hours".
But how can I maintain this?
Because for me it seems, as there is not overlapping allowed.
And if I maintain monday: 06:00 to 17:00 for non-peak I can't maintain 00:00 to 00:00 for non-business.
Can someone help me please?

We can select it manually also, but if it can be made automatic then it will be great !!

Hi experts,
we are using technical monitorin on solman 7.1.
Is there functionaliy, to create e.g. weekly or monthly a report, which includes data based on technical monitoring.
We also use early watch reporting, but this seems to be overloaded for us.
And data from activated metrics of technical monitoring would be very interesting for us.
So is there a kind of a report (pdf, word, ...) which shows performanc and availability.
Maybe also compared with one week before?
Or do we have to analyze this data online with dashboards and BW?

Hello. We occasionally run into a situation where both the Reporter and the Processor are the same person. It seems as though when we run into this situation then no scheduled actions are executed for the incident. For instance, an incident is created in one business partner and sent to another support person for action. That support person has determined that the report needs to specify more information so they then assign the incident back to the reporter who then becomes the new processor of the message. Normally, this would trigger an email to the new processor notifying them that the message been reassigned to them, however, since both the reporter and the processor are the same person, nothing happens. Is there a way to have the system execute the action regardless of who the reporter and processor are?

There is a default configuration to lock document at particular status.
I just want to know in which TABLE this lock/unlock status for the document is stored ?
And generally, is there nay way by which we find which tables are used by SAP for particular configuration step ?

We are working with projects (TX solar_project_admin, solar_01, solar_02). As a result or a new procedure. We need to obligate (to force) the user to make a link of every transport with a project (no matter the instance)
We don't use CHaRM or CTS, we just use the standard transport
How we can do that?

I am looking into the "Messages - Assigned to me" at the home page of ITSM of SOLMANPRO role.
Currently it show messages with the status of "Customer Action" + "Proposed Solution" - I would really like to filter these out - they are kinda useless. I think it would be more usefull to have the end-user "Actions required for me" box also for the SOLMANPRO role.
I know that there are workarounds with saved searches etc, but I would like to know if anyone knows of a fast way to filter out these statuses without a lot of development? Would be great if you could take a copy of the box from the end-user and change the statuses.

Hi,
I am having an issue which started yesterday and everything was working fine before without any issue.
I have configured urgent change in Solman 7.1 - SPS8 and when I create a new urgent change it getting created but when I change the status to "in development" I am getting the following message.
"Status was reset by system"
"There is no active task list in the assigned project"
When pop up create transport request window and when I select a "customizing request" click create I get the following message.
"Not linked to an active project"
I have checked the maintenance cycles and it is active state also I check authorization the user has all the authorizations. As the same user was able to change the status and create request from CHARM till yesterday morning.
Please help in resolving the issue.

We have following problem. A document contains the status schema : In Progress, In approval, Approved, New Version. In the status new version a person has deleted the document. Can it be recovered?
Is it still in the Knowledge Warehouse of the SAP Solution Manager?

I have one more issue!
This time I realized that we had one user with two BP assigned. In the end, some messages are created with BP 101 and some with BP 102.
I would like to delete old BP 101, but I cannot as there are some messages assigned (and confirmed). Is there any way I could change the reporter of those messages to BP 102?

Hello, I am using solution manager 7.1 SP08 on hp/ux with wily 9
There are times when Wily show 200% capacity then later show 51% capacity
Trying to figure out what going on so I click on the performance tab and I get a 'no data message in BI '
Any ideas on why no data is showing in BI ?

I have three questions about mail notification in solution manager technical monitoring.
1. Acknowledge
Also when I postpone an alert in technical monitoring (maybe 1 week back) I receive an email about the problem.
Is this a bug?
2. OK/Acknowledge-Mail
Is there a possibilty to receive also an email, when the status is changed to "Acknwoledge/postponed" or to green-status (=OK)?

I have problem with my document template to appear in SOLAR02.
I have created a document template in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN -> Project Standards tab -> Documentation Types tab -> Project template button. I have created my own Doc. type (ZDEV) and used Document Template button to import my Word document. At this moment I can display the template and everything seems ok.
After that, I switch to SOLAR02 and try to insert new document in Project Documentation tab. A dialog appears in which I choose my Documentation Type and choose Create New Document. However, after pressing OK button blank document appears instead of my Word document.
Has anyone experienced similar behaviour?
I have tested the same at Solman of our different customer and everything worked well. Versions of SAP are the same.

I've got like 20 systems connected to solman 7.1 sp10. All of them with their diagnostic agent and wily, all the wizards are green and everything looks good except for the "System Status" in solman_workcenter which is red. On the details i got the following error.
'DES~ABAP': Cannot get Technical System from ICM 'DES~ABAP~~ICM'
I haven't been able to find any log concerning to the error or anything that helps me to solve it.
Does anyone knows why is this happening or anoyone who have had this error?
