Email not getting triggered for ZMHF UC on status change

Hi,

I have configured Sol Man 7.1 SPS10 for change request management. I have completed all the pre configurations and I have copied SMHF to ZMHF and everything out of the box configuration is working perfectly fine.

Now I want to configure email functionality on status change for ZMHF.

 

For eg - Just as a basic test I want to configure email to the

1) Once the UC is created (E0001 - initial status) I want to trigger an email to developer.

2) Once the status changes from "In Development" to "to be tested" I want to trigger an email to the tester.

 

 

Just for testing I have created & schedule condition and the same is shown in the attached screenshot.

whenever the status changes from "created" to "In Development" the developer to receive an email.

Please see the screen shot.

 

I have done all the configuration in SPPFCADM transaction but still I am receiving any email. I checked in SOST/SCON I don't see any email.

 

Please help.

Transport a Project

Hi Expert I have the next situation my transport system in solman(/usr/sap/trans) called Domain_SOL can't see my transport system in ERP called Domain_DES (/usr/sap/trans). In the transaction Solar_project_admin in the tab System Landscape; sub tab Change Management when i try to perform a check i get the error. I can create IMG Projects and sent this projects to my DES If I try to transport to DES from my solution manager I don't have this option, I just see my two solman (SOL and SOP), but no DES, QAS or PRD. Missing Authorization for Maintenance Optimizer?

It appears that my solman_admin user is missing an authorization or role. It is able to create a Maintenance Optimizer Transaction, but cannot proceed past step 1, 'Plan Maintenance'. I am also unable to withdraw current transactions. The log states:

 

You are not authorized to perform the activity selected last

Enable/Disable Project SelectionSOCM_ACTION_LOG023

 

An excerpt of the solman_admin user roles are: SAP_MAINT_ADMIN_COMP and SAP_MAINT_OPT_ADMIN

 

I tried adding SAP_MAINT_OPT_ADD and SAP_MAINT_OPT_DISP but I believe those are contained within the previously mentioned roles.

 

What role is the user missing? From what I've read, it has all of the Maintenance Optimizer roles.

Hana on Solution Manager/DB Parameter empty and greyed out.

Dear all,

on this oportunity i'm configuring Hana DB on Solution Manager 7.10 SP08 (Recently upgraded to SP08), before the upgrade on SP05, the system was correctly configured but with the upgrade to SP08 now i see this:

like you see the instance name it's empty!!  and i can't find how fix this.

Please if somebody have a solution or a clue, i've this problem on DEV and PRD.

Hi,

 

In our new Solution Manager 7.1 SP08 (Windows-Oracle)

Configurations in Solman: System preparation, basis configuration and managed system (3 ERP, 3 BI, 3 BIJAVA, 3 PORTAL, 2 SUP, 1 AFARIA, 2 BOBJ, 3 SANDBOX, 1 WPB)

 

We realized that there are TIME_OUT dumps for everyday.but the rdisp/max_wprun_time parameter is set to 9000 seconds, this dump is generated by SOLMAN_BTC and SM_EWFK users, and in the details appears some functions of housekeeping, Job E2E_BI_HOUSEKEEPING finishes without any problem and last around 10 to 14 hours.


Here are the programs that generated TIME_OUT

Setting up CCLM for ABAP Clearing Analysis with SolMan 7.1

Hi,

 

I want to use Solution Manager 7.1 and Custom Code Lifecylcle Management (CCLM) to set up a clearing analysis of unused Custom Code objects. For this, I don't want to use the ST03N workload analysis files, but the new option of collection the information the systems gather on use on procedure level (comparable to what Code Analyzer does, I think)

 

However, I cannot seem to find a complete step-by-step cookbook to help me. Some questions that I have are:

- what do I have to do to activate the information gathering that CCLM is based upon. Do I have to active a specific Plug In, activate something in the profile?

- Which steps do I have to take on the solution manager system to collect this information. Do I have to build a library of custom objects on SOLMAN first?

- Can I run simple reports on the SM71 system itself, or do I need a separate BW system?

SOLAR_EVAL configuration.

Hi gurus,

 

We are using SOLAR_EVAL to create project documentation. The document types are typical (Technical Specification, Functional Specification, etc.) When we create a document of any of this type, it loads a default template. What I would like to know is, how can I change the default template?

 

There is a need to add 2 sections to all new documents. It will be easier to add them to template so they generate by default in all newly created documents.

PSAPSR3 is increasing too much - Solution Manager 7.1 sp08

In our new Solution Manager 7.1 SP08 (Windows-Oracle)

Configurations in Solman: System preparation, basis configuration and managed system (3 ERP, 3 BI, 3 BIJAVA, 3 PORTAL, 2 SUP, 1 AFARIA, 2 BOBJ, 3 SANDBOX, 1 WPB).

We realized that PSAPSR3 tablespace increase too much every week.

The system went on live on December 2013, and this tablespace have around 170GB of used,

SOLMAN-Not being able to save a Solution in Solution Dtabase

Dear All,

  There is an issue here, as I want to save a solution in Solution Database in SOLMAN, System shows No Action when I save the Action "Create Solution in Solution database".

MOPZ hangs up during Select Add-on Products

We are using our Solution Manager 7.1 system to create maintenance transaction to upgrade to SPS10.  When the MOPZ process reaches step 2.3, the message 'Loading...' remains on-screen, essentially indefinitely.  We close the window, since the process is supposed to run in background but we return up to an hour later and the the 'Loading...' message is still on the screen with the progress indicator still spinning.  We have confirmed that the SAP-OSS and SAP-OSS-LIST-O01 RFC destinations are testing successfully.  There are no errors in the system log (SM21) or short dumps being generated.  We set the trace level on SAP-OSS destination and there are no apparent errors.  Any thoughts on where can we check to determine where the process is getting hung up?  Thanks in advance

Number of Process is increasing in solman host.

Hi All,

 

In solution manager recently configured the SAP host agent in SVX.

There are n number of process is running in the os level?

 

ps -ef | grep sap

Please check your installation. [sapdbctrl.cp 2611]

sh: /usr/local/bin/db2ls: No such file or directory.

 

 

Kindly give the solution for this.

BPMon alert reporting not showing any data for Trend Analysis

Hi,

 

I have setup BPMon and performed the initial setup for BW reporting. There are alerts being generated by the BPMon setup and the data has been transferred to the 0SM_BPM cube.

 

But when I start the Trend Analysis report I dont get any Solution for selection to generate the trend analysis chart.

 

I have followed all the steps mentioned in the setup guide. Please suggest any remedy.

followed this note: 1829601 and executed the steps and restarted diagnostic agent .(agent started - but not able to connect solman).

Hello Together,

 

i am dealing with the Solution Manager 7.1 in different topics.

 

Question: it is possible to create an own WorkCenter with customer Information?

 

Par Example: i want have an overview page, with all customer specific and relevant infomrations. Have an Overview about a special SAP System (like in technical Monitoring-> PO Monitoring-> Overview Monitor), plus the jobs, and so on.

 

The Overview from the "MyHome" ist to simple.

 

maybe you have some more experience.

Charm Authorization problem while assigning a project

Hi All,

 

I have configured Charm copying the standard transaction type.

 

I am facing a authorization problem when assigning a project to a CR.

 

The Error appears whenever we assign a project to CR. I tried with standard transaction also but still the error is there.error123.png

 

the error message is

 

" you are not authorized to use this function"

 

for the admin ID with SAP_ALL authorization this error message is not coming.

 

it appears for the change manager composite role.

 

kindly guide in resolving the error

Manged system / update roles problem

Hi experts.

 

Last week i just installed the newest SPS on Solman 71. Everything works fine since yesterday.

Yes, i went through the basic-configuration and everything is green.

 

Now, yesterday, the workcenter wants me to "update roles" for the RFCs in clients:

 

"New roles are needed on Managed System. To update roles, select the Option “update roles” for the RFCs in clients 010 "

Or sometimes it says:

"You need to upload/update the roles for users SMB_SID (from RFC ...... [...])"


I cannot see a option "update roles". I can see an option under the users:

"Use Existing User, Specify Password and update of roles".


But in the past i choose the option:

"Generate User and Password" - so i cannot give a password and update the roles. I dont think that this is a good idea to change it manually.

So i deleted all infos over "Delete RFCs" and removed all RFCs and users.


After recreating it looks good, the assistant asked me to upload the new roles and in the overview in "Managed System Configuration" the RFC-Status is green. After a new look over "configure system", i get the message again, that i need to update the roles.


Whats up there? Could someone give me a tip?

I also get sometimes a message that the BACK_Destination doesnt exist. But it does - it works fine, too. On the other hand i recreated it and the light was green.. Strange!
