I have an issue when creating Change Transactions with reference to a Project Structure.
When I start the creation from transaction SOLAR01, on the tab Service Messages, and I create a new "Change Transaction" (of transaction type YMCR, a copy of SMCR), everything goes fine. My ticket gets created, and when I double-click it, I get into the WebUI on that ticket.
But the problem is when I do this the other way around. When I create a Request for Change in the WebUI, and I assign a project and project node to it,
it DOES appear at the correct location in SOLAR01. However, it appears with type "BMIS - Message". And that causes that when I click the ticket, it opens a url which thinks this ticket is an incident, which is completely wrong and un-editable (the button "display message" also goes to a screen with nothing in it):
And the strangest part is, when I try to create a message of type BMIS, the transaction types SMCR and YMCR are not even available there. So I really wonder how / why SolMan determines the message type BMIS, and if there is any place where this behaviour can be changed.
I would be very grateful if anyone can help me with this!

Hi Experts,
We have a new ECC Dev system and I have registered it in SLD using RZ70, also SLDAPICUST looks fine. Also I can see this system in the SLD. But, it doesn't come up in LMDB. Do I have to manually create the system in LMDB or will LMDB pull in the system from SLD. Please advice.

Hi All,
I am trying to install SOLMAN 7.1 SR in the same NW system.
When I am trying to install it takes long time to "Import Java" also it throws error as instance cannot start.Below is the error can any one tell me what is the problem?
Actually I am installing this to get the list of SP for NW system. Can any one tell me after Installing what is the procedure to get connected with NW system and get the Stack xml?

I have a question on about using Solman 7.1 as a dual stack system versus ABAP only installation scenario. Are there any limitations using Solman 7.1 as an ABAP only system? Mostly, I am concerned about the LM_SERVICE component that is an application deployed out to managed systems SMD agents.
Assuming that I am running Solman 7.1 "without" a java stack.
How is LM-SERVICE component upgraded?

I am having an issue with SAP TAO 2.0 SP4, once we try to execute a component generated by TAO scanner, the execution fails because QTP11 can not identify the objects with the properties from the component.
I have compared the URI property assigned by the scanner against the one gotten from TAO spy and are totally different. If I use the property gotten by the spy the component works fine. The issue, I think, it is the way the scanner is creating the URI.
The main question here is, do you know if it is possible to modify the code/libraries where the scanner generate the URI value?
Any idea or suggestion is welcome!

I am configuration solution manager 7.1 under oracle and AIX.
During system preparation my solution manager SMD not shown “6.2 prepare outside discovery “in list but EPR and BW SMD exists in list. All three was not show in this step then I issue following 2 command in every system like ERP BW and solman.
After completed preparation phase and basic solution manager server restart then after that it was not show in smd list ( only solution manager SMD).
Please guide me.

Hi all,
I am trying to transport a project from 1 solman to another. Both are 7.1 SP8.
When I try to transport the project from SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN, the business process content is not added in to the project. The error log shows the following error:
$TMP cannot be included in request or task
I changed the package on the Transp. Requests tab of the project. But still i get the same issue.
Does anyone know the solution to this problem?

Syntax error in program CL_AIC_CMCR_AICCMCROVERVI_IMPLCP.
"Method "DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT" has already been implemented.
Is there anybody who has faced a similar issue and could resolve it.

We are in the process of configuring BI monitoring with our Solution manager 7.1 SP08. I have configured Solman System Prep, Basic configuration, managed system configuration for our BI system.
Technical monitoring and BI monitoring is also configured with some threshold values and it is activated,
However, in SOLMAN_WORKCENTER, when I see the process chains, the status column is gray for all the chains - Please see the image below
Can you please advise why the status is gray ? Obviously it is not monitoring the status of the chain in the managed BI system. We have a process chain that fails every day and I dont get any alert from the solution manager about it.
Also, the other columns - Duration, Not started on Time, Out of time window etc does not show actual values-- all are zeros.
I would greatly appreciate your valuable input.

I have installed Solution Manager 7.1 SP 10 on Sybase 15.7.0.110 and configured the EWA reports for itself and for another ERP on syabse.
On both EWA report, there are no information about the usage of the Database as we can see for oracle.
Is it normal that the EWA does not show information for the Sybase DB?
I did not find any specific information about configuring the EWA where the database is Sybase ASE.
