Attach documents to the Change requests

Hi Techies,

 

Our requirement in solution manager, CRM_DNO_MONITOR transaction, is to capture the transport request in the change request and read the list of development objects under the task and prepare a PDF document out of that and attach the same in the Document tab of Transaction data of the change request.

 

This has to be done when the Transport request is moved from QA System to PRD system when the user sets the user status to u201CIN PRODUCTIONu201D of the change request.

 

I have completed till capturing the transport request from the text in the objects tab of the change request using READ_TEXT function module, prepared the PDF document out of that.

 

Now I want to attach this PDF document to the Document tab of Transaction data in the change reqeust.

 

We found a BADI ORDER_SAVE for this.

 

Please suggest me how to do this.

Different Environment Variable in OS and Solman

Hi dear experts,

 

I have a weird question here. I set the environment variable in the OS as blew:

smsp:smpadm 52> echo $PATH

But in solman, I run the same command in RSBDCOS0, get this：

It's same as what I found in program by debugging. And that's the reason why I failed to install MaxDB.

I have restarted solman, but the issue persisted. Can you give me any advices? Thank you.

CUPOSS => EWA not available

Hi,

 

 

Last week I have received mail from SAP stating that update RFC's and 2000132 note was mentioned.

 

 

 

As per note I have update some of RFC's but few RFC's were not available in my systems.

 

 

CUPOSS => EWA

OSSNOTE => 1_PUBLIC
SAP-OSS => 1_PUBLIC
SAP-OSS-LIST => 1_PUBLIC

SM_SP_<customer number> => 1_PUBLIC

 

Is above RFC's are compulsorily? Should be there in our environment?

If yes

 

Kindly help us creating above RFC.

Unable to create RFC connections

I got a message to update a managed system. I start managed system configuration and select the affected system, configure system step 3 connect managed system. At this point I get an error stating "Error when opening and RFC connection (lb: Hostname or service of the message server unknown"  I have tried pinging the system by hostname from the solution manager server and it pings fine. I ran a connection test from the Solution Manager server to the managed system using the one RFC connection available and it connects well also. When I look in the work directory there is an error message repeating the above. Not sure what else I can look at there, I entered the system into the HOSTS file on the solution manager server to see if it made a difference it doesn't. Attached is the entry in the DEV_RFC log from the work directory it won't paste into the question for some reason

Solman BW, Task (Transaction Type 1007)

Hello everyone,

 

 

 

I am new in solman and I am activating BW and find a ODS called 0SPRLDATA where I find transaction types SMIN, SMPR, SMRQ, etc. .. The only transaction type I can not find is 1007 which is used to identify tasks.

 

 

 

I would like to know where I can find these records or if I need some additional configuration to make them appear in the ODS 0SPRLDATA.

Errors in CCDB Stores(Extractors failed)

Hi,

 

We have solution manager 7.1 monitoring setup for sap business objects 4.0, I see an alert regarding Errors in CCDB Stores, when trying to find out the cause, I found that there are 2 extractors which got failed.

 

CONFIGURATION (WINDOWS REGISTRY CONFIGURATION) and CONFIGURATION (FILE SYSTEM)

 

In both the cases Store template is not passed to the extractor.

 

Need to know the cause of this and how to fix. I try to search and do research, but not much luck. Appreciate if you can please provide some help here.

Change Text in CRM Web Client UI (Search Dropdowns)

Hi is there a way to change the text within CRM Web Client UI....for the text that appears in dropdowns?

 

For example if I wanted to change the text from "Urgent Change" to "Emergency Change" where would I do this? The transaction type (ZMHF) has been updated with the correct text in the GUI but not sure how to update this particular section below.

Unable to upload txt file when creating new message

Hi Expert,

  

We installed SolMan 7.1, but we are not able to upload txt file when
create a new message, detailed steps as below:

 

  • 1. Click on “New
      Message” under “Common Tasks” in the left side
  • 2. Click on
      “Attachment” under “Create Message”
  • 3. Click on “Add”
      under “Attachment”
  • 4. Select file and
      click on “OK”
  • 5. But as the result, it says “No attachments. Select Add to
      upload a new attachment.”

  

Could you please help advise the reason and solution?

SolMan 7.1 Managed System Configuration

Hi Friends,

 

I need your guidance/help for SOLMAN  system preparation & Managed System Configuration ( EWA )

 

OS Windows 2008 R2

Database: Oracle 11.2.0.2

SOLMAN 7.1 SP8 is installed

DAA Installation--> SOLMAN is done

DAA Satellite Systems--> To be Checked

Basic System Preparation --> Planned

Managed System Configuration--> Planned

EWA for ECC & BW Landscape--> Planned


I would like to know how do I check how to check DAA in Satellite systems is installed or not.. and even in SOLMAN system.

and how do I start with Basic preparation. As I am Novice person in SOLMAN, will be really thankful if someone can help me out in guiding me by providing some links/document for proceeding further.

multilevel categorization in follow up documents

Hi all,

 

I have an issue with the multilevel categorization in follow up documents.

There are two transaction types (ZINC & ZSRQ), each with it's own cat. schema. Knowledge base articles (ZKBA) are defined as follow up for both transaction types. Within the schema definition I assigned the knowledge base articles in both schemes within the application area.

 

In my understanding the follow up logic should work in this way:

transaction type ZINC with schema ZINC_MLC => follow up ZKBA with schema ZINC_MLC

transaction type ZSRQ with schema ZSRQ_MLC => follow up ZKBA with schema ZSRQ_MLC

 

Now, sometimes the correct schema is copied, sometimes the wrong one...

 

Where can I define that copy control? I already set the option for field category in the copy control mapping rules..

/BDL/TASK_PROCESSOR running as DDIC account

There's been several discussions on background jobs not running as SAP delivered accounts such as SAP* and DDIC. We're taking some initiatives to follow these standards.

 

One paritcular job seems to be vexing to reschedule as another user ID. It is currently running as DDIC, and we would like to reschedule it as a custom system account. We cannot change who the job is running as through traditional job scheduler. There are several notes

 

There are several good sights that seem to replicate notes and such but none seem to really clarify for a configurer running this job how to set it to run as a different ID from DDIC. 'http://www.stechno.net/sap-notes.html?view=sapnote&id=763561

 

Does anyone have any success with rescheduling this job as a different user ID? If so, how did you accomplish this task?

CONFIGURE LOCAL SLD STATUS IS RED IN SOLMAN 7.1

Hi all,

I configured local SLD in solution manager. but after local  SLD is configured I found the SLD status " HTTP status: 401 Unauthorized - user logon data is invalid or user has no authorization" in SOLMAN_SETUP in 6.1 step. following is the screen shot.

can u please guide me how to make it error free. thanks in advance. points rewarded for correct answer.

Mopz Transaction phase change manually

Dear Team/Experts,

 

Apparently I created one MOPZ Transaction for enhancing some components to EHP 5 (already my ECC server is running on ERP 6.0 EHP 5 but some components were still on ERP 6.0 patch XYZ). I was able to create necessary stack.xml (In SAINT it asked for it.... ). Now by mistake I clicked the button Next in MPOZ transaction and now it is in phase Implement. Can somebody please let me know how to reset that transaction to earlier phase (i.e. Download files). cause whenever I open that transaction ....it just gives me that JAVA window with cursor

Hello,

 

On a working version of SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SPS04 we installed SPS08 and then we did not perform step 4.4 in the System Preparation.

 

Error:

CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT: SOAP: 1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 503: Service Unavailable")

CX_SOAP_FAILURE: Error when processing Web service call

CX_SOAP_CORE: Error when calling SOAP Runtime functions: SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 503: Service Unavailable")

   

We have reinstalled the agent version DIAGAGT73SP03_0-20006983.SAR Installation of DIAGNOSTICS AGENT 7.3 SP03 platform HP-UX on IA64 64bit.

 

Tried to solve the problem of sap notes 1837656, 1752309, 1659135, 1752309, 1822831, 1663549, 1801045, but not resolved.

SAP IDES isntall error

Dear all,

        When I isntall SAP IDES in my RedHat 6.4, it shows error below:

The system tell me input  the Installation Export NW 7.0 SR3 . But after I input the export NW 7.0 of 51034985_1, it shows error:

ou entered: /sap_install/51034985_1 Found the label SAP:ECC:600SR3:DVD_EXPORT(1/3):Installation Export DVD:D51034985_1 but need the label SAP:NETWEAVER:2004sSR3:EXPORT(1/3):*:*

BPB (Business Process Blueprinting) Tool - Cannot Publish entities

Hello SCN members!

 

Could anyone help me? During my tests on the BPB tool, I found a problem related to the process flow on business process level:

 

All elements (except process steps) used in process design disappear after the syncronization (publishing) with Solution Manager

 

Here is one test:

 

 

1 - First I draw the process flow

2 - Then I save it and publish in Solution Manager, but when I do this, the tool returns me an error message: Cannot publish entities; check problems view. The point here is there is no information on the log files to help with the error identification.

3 - On Solution Manager, the component view tab shows only the process steps.

4 - If I close and reopen the BPB tool, only the process steps remain:

Any idea about what is happening?
