Hi,
In the Create Message Incident screen there is the ITSM Reported By field.
What should I do so that the Reported By field is automatically populated with the user who is logged in?
In this case would automatically insert the value of the Created By field in the Reported By field.

recently we have started using CHaRM to manage our transports.
we created the transport under SOLMAN.
developed our application and transported to Quality Assurance System for testing.
a new transport was created to accommodate any issues identified by test team.
when we try to activate any changes to the new transport we get CSOL error message.
if we activate again the 'activation successful' message is displayed but when we check the transport via SE09 the changes are not written to the transport.
has anyone experienced this issue?
if so, how did u resolve it?

We are using Solution Manager 7.1 SP12
I have 2 projects. The first is an implementation project that we created and contains a mixture of dynamic and semi-dynamic TBOMs. The second is an upgrade project created through the Scope and Effort Analyser. This contains semi-dynamic TBOMs.
I want to combine these two into a solution. When I copy them in the TBOMs from the upgrade project do not copy across.
Is this because it is an upgrade project?
How do I get both sets of TBOMs into the Solution?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Hello all,
I have gone through the steps to setup DVM and I am trying to run a test "Reorg & Compression" analysis.
I select a New Analysis in "expert mode" and in "object selection" I select table DBATBLOG. The analysis runs and the background job runs through to completion.
Shortly afterwards in the analysis list overview I see that my task ends up in status "cancelled" with the following log. No dumps, nothing in SM21 nothing reported in Oracle.
I have searched through all the usual sources and don't find anything.
ps: In case someone suggests it, the following notes are not relevant to my system.

I have a requirement that I should have data for one month atleast in the EWA report. But EWA is showing data for few month for few of the componenta and 1 week for few of the component.
I need all the data AT-LEAST for a month. Like below screen is having data for 7 days only while another screen is having data for many months.
I can see that ST03 is having data to provide but it is not being captured in EWA.
I tried making change in SDCCN settings for Maintenance and Refresh session but not successful.
Any idea, how can I achieve this?

When I try to open it, I get the the 500 SAP Internal Server Error. See attached screenshots.

I am trying to generate a stack file for SPS upgrade for Java SRM system and getting the message BPERPESSWDA1.50 SP000 is not available for SID-servername based on user S00XXXXXXX. The landscape verification for the system is successful. The component BPERPESSWDA1.50 is not present in my SRM system. Surprisingly , if I try to generate a stack for EHP upgrade, there are no errors.

We are using Solution manager 7.1 SP12.
DIA agent configured in all the child system. Technical monitoring configured in all the child systems successfully. We are able to see Availability,performance, configuration and exception details in system monitoring under Technical monitoring tab in solman_workcenter.But we we try to see the instance availability in IT performance report not displaying any data. But we able to see other data in IT performance reporting configuration.
Out of 7 system 3 system giving instance availability data in IT performance reporting.
I have attached the required screenshot below.Please help me to fix this issue.

Hi Experts,
We have some daily jobs that run in production. We as BASIS team , need to monitor them and report their completion time/failure to responsible groups. Is there a way in SOLMAN (or any other way) that we can automate the monitoring of these jobs and/or send mail to reponsible groups?
All we need is to trigger mails to other groups about job completion or failure.
Any suggestions wil be appreciated.
