All Diagnostic Agents unassigned

Good Morning,

 

since the day before yesterday we have major problems with our Diagnostic Manager environment.

 

All Agents unassigned itself and disappeared from the Agent Administration and are now shown as offline.

 

On OS they are running. But in the work logs i found following error, wich appears every minute in every Agent-Log (dev_smdagent):

We changed nothing in the Solution Manager 7.1, user SMD_AGT is all right und properly configured.

 

The only thing was, that our SLD was offline for two days, due to an Oracle 12 Upgrade.

 

 

 

Any Ideas ?

SolMan HANA sizing

Hi all,

 

are there any experiences with Solution Manager on HANA and sizing guidelines.

Unfortunately the sizing toolkit is no longer available in SMP - at least I couldn't find it.

 

I'm looking for sizing guidelines for the service desk functionality in SolMan. Especially how the attachments in tickets are handled by HANA. Are they treated as hybridLOBs and mainly stored on storage or constantly loaded in memory?

 

Looking forward for any information

EarlyWatch Uncaught Exception - Type conflict saving to check table

Hello,

 

Recently my EarlyWatch alerts have been failing. The SM:EXEC_SESS_X_XXXXXXXXXX jobs do not run successfully. They produce a short dump with this message:

 

Category               ABAP Programming Error

Runtime Errors         UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION

Except.                CX_DSVAS_API_XXXXXX_XXXX (varies, see screenshot)

ABAP Program           CL_DSVAS_PROC_CHECK_GROUP=====CP

Application Component  SV-SMG-SVD-SWB

 

 

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_DSVAS_API_SERVICE_SESSION', was not caught and therefore caused a runtime error.

The reason for the exception is:Type conflict saving to check table (Value=&9.065.20&, Type=&D&)

Maintenance optimizer downloads error

While I am doing the downloads for EHPI Upgrade but after choosing target, it gives me this error.

Service Documents in DVM

Hi Community,

 

The DVM scenario is already configured in the Solution Manager but when i go to DVM Workcenter to execute in the Service Documents area to create a new session, a windows pops-up and i select the solution and the date for the session, when i click the OK button nothing else happens, it should display a new windows with the wizard to create the session.

 

I found the SAP note 1635041 DVM Work Center: Cannot Create GSS DVM but doesn't apply for the system.

 

Do you have any recommendation?

View all messages for a customer with end user

Hello experts,

 

     In my company we are implementing SAP Solution Manager 7.1 but one of our customers needs to see all the messages created in his comany.

 

e.g.

 

     User1 from Company1 creates a messages, after that User2 from the same company creates another message. In this company there is one user (UserKU) that needs see both messages not only messages created by his own.

 

Users create messages through SM_CRM transaction and they see these messages in the same page.

 

End users have the following roles.

RBPD use

Hi experts,

 

 

I wanted to know where the RBPD real use will come into picture.

 

Whatever I understood from various posts is that its a automated tool to generated the solution documentation analysis.

 

We got a project for which we need to provide support only after implementation by other team.

 

Can we get using RBPD, the various customization configuration done for various modules including BW as well?


Does it generate the business blueprint kind of document from it?


I am not a solution manager person but wanted to check if RBPD can be helpful to understand the functional configuration and technical objects created in ECC.

Template Management supports SAP BW development & deployment too?

Hello,

 

I've recently read about the SAP Solution Manager's functionality (Template Management - Application Lifecycle Management) in managing central template creation and multiple systems deployment.

 

While this is all very interesting, just one question, can this functionality work for SAP BW objects as well?

It talks alot about IMG and ABAP Workbench development, but made no reference to SAP BW objects.

 

Can someone perhaps point me in the right direction?

More information on SAP SolMan 7.1 SPS13 and single source of truth (SSOT)

Hi everyone-

 

I am looking for whatever information I can get about the SAP concept of 'single source of truth'. I can't seem to find any documents with a clear explanation!

 

I am hoping to read up on it more and have someone confirm if the following is correct:

 

SSOT in SAP SolMan means all the documents/objects /configurations are stored in the Business Process Repository (BPR). When a project is setup and business scenario/processes/steps are added, instead of physically adding the documentation to the project the documentation is linked from the BPR, correct? This way, any updates done to that document are propagated through the SAP system to each project that has that document linked, right?
and if a project requires new information not in the BPR, the information should be put into the BPR and than linked to the project instead of adding it to the project directly. Is this correct?

Active BW content for RCA Canceled!

Hello everyones,

 

Right now we already upgrade our Solaman System from SP10 to SP 12, all the proccess was ok and now we gonna do the Basic config. steps. but in step 5. Configure Automatically the section Active BW content for RCA send a Red state and error.

 

I attached the screens, btw the user its okey because the job scheduled well but after a while gonna canceled!.

Quality Center Enchancement(SM_QC_AD) not Visible to activate in Solman 7.1 SP2

Hi All,

 

We are starting integration of Solman 7.1 SP2 and HPQC. We have already installed Add-on component ST-QCA using SAINT in

Solution Manager. But when going to IMG location below not able to see this enhancement?

 

SPRO-> SAP Solution Manager -> Technical Settings->Activate Solution Manager Enchancements there is no (SM_QC_AD) extension not showing up to

activate it and start the configuration part of it.

 

I have alredy tried different locations in IMG to find the same Enchancement but no luck. Let me know if this is a known issue or any structural change has been occured in Solution Manager SP2 version of IMG.

 

Do i need to get activation key from SAP Note in order to make it visible and activated in our Solution Manager System.

 

The Adapter installed on this system is as below

ST-QCA 100 0000 - SAP Adapter for SAP Quality Center by HP

 

Also for your information SAP License has been purchased for SAP Quality Center Adapter before its Installation and Configuration.

EWA rating is gray for Solman system

We are getting EWA reports but it is in gray status and found Quality of Data in Service Data Control Center (SDCC) is missing as below

Timezone of J2EE Engine test-solman does not match timezone of the diag. agent

Hi All,

 

We have got below error under configuration check of Managed System Configuration.

 

Error:

 

Timezone of J2EE Engine  test-solman does not match timezone of the diag. agent

 

When we check instance.properties  and smdagent.properties, the time related parameter is not found.

 

Please advice how to solve this issue.

We are facing 1 issue we want to disable Read receipt and delivery mail receipt whenever mail triggered from ITSM. we are receiving Read & delivery mail receipt for every Mail. I have performed below settings in SCOT but no progress.

I have created Organizational Model / Support Team and hierarchy using Transaction code PPOMA_CRM, Like:


Organization

          Position

               Support Team Member1

               Support Team Member2


With This my Team is able to see following things in Workcenter:

on similar line, One of the functional Head from department (Users who are reporters) Wants to see in his workcenter:

Incidents Reported  by Me and Incidents reported By my Team.

 

Please guide how to achieve this :

Status Changes in CRMBS02 are not reflecting in ITSM

Hello SAP Experts,

 

We wanted to add a new status type "CR in Progress" for Incidents in ITSM.

 

Steps performed

 

A.      Went to Tr’x CRMBS02.

 

B.      Selected profile SMIN0001 (It is the status profile being used for incident).

 

 

C.      Created a new status Type "CRIP" with description "CR in Progress" (Please see the attached screenshot CRIP_Status_Added.jpg).

D.      Its’ getting reflected in Incident Search Page (Please see the attached screenshot Incident_Search.jpg)

E.       But its’ not reflecting inside the ticket, (Please see attached screenshot Incident_Edit.jpg) As per business requirement ”CR in Progress” should be reflected in status while editing/updating the Incident Status.

Kindly we want "CR is progress" Status should be reflected while Editing/Updating a CR. Please help us with feasible solution for this.

I am doing upgrade of solution manager 7.1 sps04 to sps14 through SUM and i am at preprocessing phase and the process is running atMAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHDIMP/SHADOW_IMPORT_INC from last 15 hours ..So please suggest should i wait more or share any corrective action to resolve this issue.

Dear all,

 

I faced with error during connection Maxdb to SolMan CCMS according sap note gide 1895715 - System Monitioring Setup for SAP CONTENT SERVER

 

All actions in db59 perfomed, all connection tests succesful.

 

Error in step "Enter System Parameters":

 

 

"Mandatory connection parameter 'DBSYS' not specified"
 

 

Please see attachment. How to resolve this issue?
