SOAP:1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 404 : Not Found")

Hi All,

 

 

 

We are using Solution manager 7.1 sp04 version.

 

please let me know if any sloution for the below.

 

in basic configuration --> step 3.1 Configure CA wily introscope

 

we got below error ,

.SOAP:1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 404 : Not Found")

 

 

Web service invocation problem on host maws0813.maisap.com and port 8000 protocol : http logical port name : LP_WS_MANAGED_SETUP

 

 

Could not ping web service on the solution manager java stack

 

We checked the SAP notes : 1663549 , 1659135 and 1752309 But no luck.

 

can you please let me know any idea to reslove this..

solman 7.1 sp12->incident management->e-mail configuration

Hi experts, we have a running solman SP12 configured for VAR scenario, we have been using it for incident management, however, we have not working the mail sending feature. We did the configuration using: "Application Incident Management –Configuration and Upgrade Guide for Service Provider / SAP Channel Partner (VAR) " but theres no anything about mail sending.

 

When we go to an incident and then More->Send E-Mail->Send , we get the message:"No e-mail adress in your user master record; E-mail will not be sent", however if i check in SU01 and BP transactions,my system users and business partners(related to this users) all have e-mail adress.

Another strange thing is that , in the mail screen, if i select more->from  , i get an empty list

And also, when listing the contact persons for a ticket, the email is empty,however all su01 and business partners, have e-mail assigned:

Does anybody has some tips for configuring e-mail(and make e-mail adresses appear in the incident management screens)?

Stop TR Auto import for Urgent Corrections in ChaRM

Hi Experts,

 

I have a business requirement to stop the auto import of transport requests (to QA system) for urgent corrections temporarily in Solution Manager 7.1 sps11.

 

I have tried to work with task list and other similar stuff but I couldn't find anything fruitful.

 

Can you please let me know if it is possible to stop the TR auto import to QA system when the status is changed to "To Be Tested" from "In Development" for temporary purpose.

SLD doesnt forward updates to another SLD

Hi there,

 

on two backend systems, the sld from Javastack cant forward their entries to SLD from Solution Manager.

I already googled an searched here in SCN and SAP Notes, but find nothing. Can you help me about this error message in log from Source-SLD ?

PPF Action Definition sends E-Mail notification twice

Hello together,

 

We use the PPF action definition for our incident management in solman 7.1.

Our starting condition depends on a status change. In this example we want to send a mail with mail forms to the reporter and our action definition looks like this:

 

 

Unfortunately the systems sends the Email notification twice! (But not always) Is there any setting we can use to avoid this behaviour?

However, if the reporter answers to our email and the status (which is linked to the start condition) is set again by the processor an update of the incident should be send "again" to the reporter. Therefore, we didn`t use "max 1 action def." in the action merging field.

 

Can anyone help?

Auto import based on Categorisation in the Change Document

Hello,

 

My client is on Solman Version 7.1 SP08 and we have the following functional requirements within ChaRM: -

 

Background

 

ZMCR Change Request configured (copy of SMCR) and ZMMJ Std Change (copy of SMMJ) and ZMHF Urgent Change (copy of SMHF) also configured.

 

Multi Level Categorization set up at Levels 1 to 3 on the Change Request/Change Document with Level 1 configured to be Catalogue, Change, Consultancy or Incident.

 

Requirements

 

Upon status 'Successfully Tested' being set in the Change Document and where the category at Level 1 is 'Catalogue' only then there is a requirement to automatically import these into the Production system.

 

I have seen some threads around Status Dependent Import (The Hidden Treasure of ChaRM) and also the New Import Strategy : Selective Import Solman - SP10 but no appear to provide a solution to my requirements?

 

Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated!!

Change Instance Host and DB host

Hi all,

 

We need to move our current Solution Manager 7.1 SR1 Dual Stack from a physical Windows Server to a virtual one running on vmware. In fact, we need to separate the Application Server and Database Server (Currently Solman is running in just one server).

 

I do not want to rename the Aplication Server because the references and connections in use right now. The Application server IP address will be maintained too. What is the best option? I am not sure if System Copy is the way to go...

Urgent Change for 4 system landscape

Hi All,

 

I need to configure ChaRM Urgent Change (UC) for 4 system landscape. I don't want to use Normal change as of now, so that's out of scope for me.

 

I have gone through other scn posts related Charm configuration for 4 system landscape, but none of them giving clear picture on what changes we have to make in Urgent change, so that it works for 4 system landscape.

 

 

So I want to have more clear picture w.r.t  Urgent Change configuration what additional changes I have to make in standard Actions & statuses .

 

Landscape :  Dev->  Quality->   Pre-Prod ->   Prod 

 

 

In the  standard Actions & statuses of Urgent Change (SMHF) it's only  applicable for 3 system landscape.

 

If I perform the action "Pass Urgent Change to Test" it will import UC to Quality system & status will change to 'To Be Tested'.

 

When I perform action " Confirm Successful Test" ,  it will change  UC status to " Successfully Tested".

 

So after this status we have next action as " Import into production", so there is no action available to import change into 'Pre-Production'

 

So what changes exactly I need to do to import UC to Pre-Production ?  So any suggestions, please help.

 

So once UC imported into Pre-Prod, then we have action ' Import change into Production' , which will import UC to Production.

Not able to release the Change Request (ZMCR) for development

Hello All,

 

We are getting error while changing the status of CR from 'Approved' to 'Release for Development'. Normal or Urgent change is supposed to be generated with  the status change.

 

Error Message: Change Documents cannot be generated

 

Diagnosis:

IBase Component: Correctly assigned

Maintenance cycle Phase: Development with Release

System Role: Production system

 

Please help in resolving the issue.

Transport management in Solution Manager without integration to Charm

Dear All,

 

We would like to use Solution Manager to be a Transport Management tool, where users can release, approve, create transports etc. In the first wave we would not like to integrate it to CRs or Incidents via Charm. Is there a possibility to activate and use Solman for this? Based on my research i found that maybe Quality Gate Management can be a solution to this. Can you please advise whether it is a good approach or is there another recommended way to implement transport management without implementing Incident Management and Change Request management?

No detected product instances available for technical systems XXX

Hi,

 

I got error when did Landscape verification "No detected product instances available for technical system TRD".

I installed Solution Manager 7.1 and EHP7 ECC6 SR2. When generate stack.xml for Solution manager is success, but when I generate stack.xml for EHP7 i got error "Successor installed for SUCCESSFACTORS HCM INTEGR 1.0  " and many warning.

 

Anyone can help, or I forget something?

Continuously wrong user name is coming in field "Reported by" in SAP solution Manager end while successfully support message created.

Dear Expert,

 

I have created a support message successfully through the sap portal version 7.31

But the created message does not have correct name of Reported by user in sap solman system version- 7.1 field assigned.

Continuously one user name is comeing in field "Reported by" while successfully support message created.

For example:

Suppose have portal user have xyz,PQR and mnm.

I loged into the portal with user PQR or mnm and create the support message successfully through the sap portal.

When am going to sap backend solman system,while checking each and every things are fine but "Reported by" field showing xyz name in Reported by field but I have created support message from user PQR ,If I create support message from any users always reflecting xyz name in Reported by field.

 

 

For you info xyz is portal admin ID,hvae done config from this ID only.

 

 

Please suggest to me that where am missing config level sap portal end or sap solman system end.

Hi Team,

 

We trying to integrate HPQC and solman.In that we trying to create  a logical port ,we are getting error 403 Forbidden and the same when we ping the webservice.When we try to connect the project to HPQC we getting unsupported format.

Wrong Link in Analyse-Report for SM21 !?

Hi,

 

we use SM7.1 with SP13.

 

in the Analyse-Reports of an alert regarding System-Logs we get a wrong Link under section Analysis Tools:

If we Click on 'Transaction SM21' we get the link for Transaction SICF !

 

Is there a workaround for that or a bugfix (from my side of view it must be a bug )...

Report' or 'follow' the incident that was created on portal

Hi All,

 

I would like to know that , Is there any way to 'report' or 'follow' the incident that was created on portal  7.31?

 

When a user creates an incident from through sap portal, How users can come to know the status of incident / back and look at the status of users incident,This of Kind of a reporting.

How to monitor the availibity of saposcol with MAI Solution Manager 7.1

Dear all,

 

we have the Need to monitor the availibity of the the saposcol with MAI Solution Manager 7.1 SP10. We tested the Monitoring of the saposcol Prozess with MAI. But tests Showed when killing the saposcol process on os Level the related metrics became Grey in MAI and no alerting run. So this idea seems not to be a sufficient solution. Any ideas?

I need to know data volume of messages for cost allocation. I didn't find it in Integration Monitoring (PI Monitoring) of SOLMAN, but maybe the Business Process Monitoring provide something like that.

 

Could you help me somebody.
