Send attachments from Solution Manager to reporter not working

Hello together,

 

Is there any setting required to enable the sending of attachments from Solution Manager to reporter?

 

Example:

We choose an attachment within an incident (see picture)

 

 

 

We use the PPF actions for automatic E-mail response (when saving the document). The text log gets delivered, but the attachment not.

However, if we receive a reply to an existing inident the reporters' attachment can be found in the attachments box of the incident.

 

Can anyone help?

Transport Changes in Test Phase

Hello everyone,

 

I have got a 4-system ECC landscape and I am setting up ChaRM for the same - Dev -> Quality -> Pre-Prod -> Prod.

The Integration Testing is done in Quality System in the Maintenance Cycle phase - 'Test'. I am not sure if in Test Phase, whether we will be able to move the changes to Pre-Prod system.

 

Please let me know if it is possible to move changes in my Pre-Prod system in Test Phase or not.

Maintenance Planner / Landscape Fetch Errors

Hi

The System Data in Maintenance Planner is outdated.

 

The Job LANDSCPAE_FETCH seems to run succesful (SM37). However, I was trying to use Maintenance Planner Application and realised the system data there is outdated (last update: August 2014)

 

Then I started digging, which led me to SLG1 / AI_LMDB / SUPPORT_PORTAL_SYNC

Here it says:

 

Systems to be synchronized determined
Sending 18 systems to SAP Support Portal
The following error messages have been returned by SAP Support Portal:
The system constellation is empty
Detailed system information are required if you want to upload data to the Maintenance planner and work with the system(s) there

Uploading, Accessing, and Trouble-Shooting ...
Sent
Synchronized: 0 systems synchronized, 18 systems failed

 

I can upload data successfully to SAP Support Portal via LMDB -> Product System Maintenance.

CR content is current SP11

LMDB says "Status OK"

 

Do you guys have any idea why data upload to Support Portal is not working as expected?

Saplogon.ini file not showing after the Gui 740 installation (Windows 10)

Dear Experts,

 

After I installed GUI 740 in my laptop (wind 10 os), i went to migrate the saplogon.ini files from other system to my laptop.

but there is no saplogon.ini files shown in the default folder,

so how could i replace the configuration file. there is only one .xml file is showing, that which i created manually on the pad.

 

is there anyway to get my old configurations back by replacing.

i hope u guys will find a solution.

am attaching the screenshot of showing lLocal Configuration files.

PPF Action Definition sends E-Mail notification twice

Hello together,

 

We use the PPF action definition for our incident management in solman 7.1.

Our starting condition depends on a status change. In this example we want to send a mail with mail forms to the reporter and our action definition looks like this:

 

 

Unfortunately the systems sends the Email notification twice! (But not always) Is there any setting we can use to avoid this behaviour?

However, if the reporter answers to our email and the status (which is linked to the start condition) is set again by the processor an update of the incident should be send "again" to the reporter. Therefore, we didn`t use "max 1 action def." in the action merging field.

 

Can anyone help?

SOLMAN Test Management : Email Notification

Hi Experts,

I am creating a test management system in Solution Manager.

Most part of the configuration ie Business Blueprint, Business Scenario, Test Packages & Tracking is configured.

 

I am at present stuck with Email Notification.

 

Requirement :-

1. Email notification when a test owner assign the test to a tester.

2. Email notification to test owner when test has completed successfully by the tester.

 

Both above has to be workflow driven.

 

I have already reviewed the Test Automation guide & have made necessary parameter in the user id.

I am using action profile ZMDT_STD (copied from SMDT_STD).

But it has only 2 action profiles available.

 

I am considering customizing these action profile, but looking for others opinion.

Txn : CATEGOTOOL session time out

Hello everyone,

I exported the multilevel categorisation schema using the txn CATEGOTOOL made changes as per the requirement. While importing it back i am getting a session timeout as the file size is large around 9 MB.

Please suggest me how to overcome this issue.

Solution manager EWA setup for Clustered BO nodes

Hi Experts,

 

I have managed to struggle and set up EWA for a BO test environment.

 

I now have to implement it on my production servers, its a clustered environment with 2 nodes.

 

Diagnostics and SAP host agents have been installed on both the nodes.

 

But I am still unclear and have failed miserably in finding the right document, I want a single EWA report which will show me data from both the servers,

 

Also while doing the managed setup I am not sure how to do it for clustered nodes.

 

Can someone please throw some light in the swamp!

Managed System Configuration:No Wily EM host specified

Hi,

 

I am getting the below error in the 8th step(configure automatically->Introscope Host adapter and Generate system level metrics) while performing the managed system configuration for the Solution manager. (Solution manager version 7.1 SP04; introscope version 9.1.0.0)

Enterprise manager is already installed on solution manager.

Configure CA Wily Introscope step in basic configuration is also successful.

 

Kindly help in solving the problem.

Blank EWA report

Hi Experts,

 

I have performed the managed setup in solman 7.1 sp 13 and Bo servers BI4.1 SP4 patch1 version.

 

I am able to see all the expected data in the Introscope workstation and webview.

 

however there is not data in the EWA workload analysis , then I check the extractor framework in the Solman admin -> landscape  ,

 

Below mentioned errors are seen

 

"Solmandiag not authorized to execute E2E_java_Extractor"

 

" SolmanDiag warning EM Memory exhausted, work process gets PRIV/Not authorized to execute E.

 

The TCP/IP connections Solmandiag, webadmin, RFC MDX Parser are fine.

 

Awaiting suggestions from the experts.

Solman_setup Error

Dear Expert,

 

Recently i have upgrade my Solution Manager, when i am running Solman_setup or from work center is giving me following error

 

500 SAP Internal Server Error ERROR: Syntax error in program CL_SISE_USER==================CP . (termination: RABAX_STATE)

 

before upgrade my solman_setup is running fine.

 

here is the ST22 dump error.

I am looking for a way to accomplish the following:

 

When a user clicks on the ticket to open it, I would like it to open in edit-mode (standard is read-mode).

 

I would like to accomplish this both for the recent items, and from the list you get after performing a search.

 

How do I configure this?

LMDB Synchronising Error : SAP_LMDB_LDB_0000000001 job not running.

Hi Expert,

 

I recently installed SAP Solution Manager System and upgraded to Sp14.

After the post installation, we are configuring the system preparation in solution manager, but we are stuck at this point where we have to setup the LMDB and sync it with the SLD.

But the Synchronization is stuck at 1%. We checked the SAP_LMDB_LDB_0000000001 job but its not running.

We have scheduled the standard job for the solman system and its running fine.

When we checked the system for SAP_LMDB_LDB_0000000001 job, we were not able to find the job in SM36 or SM37 as well to check if the job is running.

how can we run this job as i am not able to find it in the solman system,

Need help ?

start instance failed in SOLMAN installation

Hi Team,


We are installing SOLMAN 7.1 in AWS instance with SUSE Linux as OS and Sybase ASE as database.

 

The hostname of the AWS instance is long and did not match the hostname prerequisite for SAP installation. So with the command hostname <newname> changed the hostname and started the installation.

 

Now in the start instance phase of installation the instance is getting started but the dispatcher is not green. It is showing in the log as Dispatcher status Yellow Running but not connected to Message server.

 

Below is the error in the dev_icm log.

 

WARNING => IcmJ2EEScheduleFunc: Cannot access "/sap/public/icman" - please check node in TA sicf [icxxman_mt.c 2679]

 

I have upgraded the kernel also to the latest to 721 UC 600 SP as per the note 2175462 - ICM doesn't work when the first HTTP service has subparameter HOST defined

 

But still the error is same. Kindly suggest.

Technical Monitoring - Watch Security Notes

we are using "System Recommendation" where security notes gets suggested.

Is there also a possibility, to display e.g. security notes in Technical Monitoring?

 

So that we get notified if a security note was released?

Maybe with "Configuration Validation"?

Hello,

 

Can I monitor a 5-minute periodic job in a Solman 71 SP13 with the Job Monitoring setting? I can only find information for weekly or monthly periodic jobs in the help text.

 

if the Solman Job Monitoring has this feature, could someone write a short step-to-step summary on how I can customize this function?

SWPM_System_Copy

Hello,

I am build a sandbox(SS1) system from prod(SP1),So i am using SWPM for the system copy During my import phase on SS1 at IMPORT ABAP step i am facing below error.Could some one help me fo fix it.

I tried to load failed .TSK files manually using CMD "R3load.exe -merge_only "filepath.TSK" it was successful.When i rerun the SWPM it is throwing me same error.
