Hello SAP,

We have configured system monitoring in Solution Manager 7.1 SP10 system.

Monitoring data for database and ABAP technical instance is getting captured and available in system/database monitoring in technical monitoring work center.

But host monitoring not working for both ABAP and Java systems and technical instance of Java data not capturing, shows grey entries.

We have followed and implemented the SAP note:

1853160 - Grey host metrics in Technical Monitoring

1855064 - Error occurred when calling the DPC Push web service

1638655 - Errors with requests coming from ICM

But still the host monitoring and Java system details are not working in Technical Monitoring.

We have noticed below error message on Diagnostic Agent log files:

is there a interface which a 3rd party vendor could use to import/export performance data from SolMan? I guess I am looking for a way to integrate an external performance monitoring product like Wily did this with SAP extended diagnostics for SAP.

We have upgraded the SAP Solution Manager system from solman 7.0 to 7.1 SP10.

In the incident management workcenter i can see my new transcation type and old transaction type, which is correct.

Problem:

In SM_CRM transaction (with standard SOLMANPRO business role), i can see only new transaction type and I cannot see old transaction type.

We recently upgraded our solman 7.11 from SP08 to SP11. Now it looks like the local filters we had added to our agents on the fly are gone. When trying to add them again I always get the error 'The regular expressions could not be evaluated. Check Details'. No details are available however.

What I'm trying to do:

We have hosts with a FQDN as like 'host1.bc' and also 'host1-bu.bc'. Now I want to exclude the hosts ending with '-bu.bc'. Can somebody please let me know what I need to enter in the exclude local filter? '*-bu.bc' seems not to be working as domain exclusion filter, also '*-bu' as host exclusion filter results in the error mentioned above.

I am doing SOLMAN71 upgrade to SPS11 by using SUM SP11 after SOLMAN installation.

However, I got this error during SUM upgrade. Please advise if you have any solutions.

During change document approval for unit testing, we are getting error, when I checked in detail, it is giving error for transport of copies error as below

it seems to be getting locked with original transport,

also I can't see change in transport of copies

when I did detail analysis,  in all transports project code related to change document, disappear

although if I create new change document, project code appear,

Do we have  way to solve this issue?, I even not able to decouple the transport from change document, it giving error, do we have way where we can resync change document and transport?

I configured local SLD in solution manager. but after local  SLD is configured I found the SLD status " HTTP status: 401 Unauthorized - user logon data is invalid or user has no authorization" in SOLMAN_SETUP in 6.1 step. following is the screen shot.

I have solution manager 7.1, I did not configure managed systems as of now. I configured local SLD of solution manager system as central SLD.

SLDAPICUST is fine and SLDCHECK is also fine but getting one error:

"Functional call returned exception code 3"

"Access to XI Profile currently disrupted.

is this error belongs to solution manager 7.1 or for PI system.

The system where it goes wrong was an old portal system with dual stack, this has been removed and replaced with a java only portal (so no JC01 but J01 )

We had the system in Solution Manager 7.1 but after the move it didn't work anymore so we needed to change this.

I reran the setup for monitored systems in solution manager and filled in all the requested information and the lights became green. Except for 1, being step 7 the "configure automaticly"

here when I run it it comes with a failure on:

Byte Code Adapter Installation

Error message is:

Wily introscope setup for TS:SID-JAVA - host:<server> - server node:12235750

I just install SOLMAN 7.1 SPS 11.

I want to configure System preparation but the system is keep loading until no end when click on "EDIT".

Please advise if you have any idea.

I have ran SGEN. also the also memory looks normal.

Able to access to http://localhost:50000 without performance issue.

Default Java memory are

-Xms2048M 

-XX:MaxNewSize=600M 

-XX:NewSize=600M 

-XX:MaxPermSize=512M 

-XX:PermSize=512M 

-Xss2M

max heap size is 2048
